Hey, resurrecting this older thread. I've read through as much as I can and can't find any info on where to currently find OME lift parts for my 2004 Liberty. JBA only sells upper control arms now. Is the OME even still available? For reference I am in Georgia, US.

Ninja Edit:

I had an idea on searching part numbers and long story short, I answered my own question but I'll post it here for anyone else looking. It looks like www.4wheelparts.com is the only online supplier (that I can find) and now the springs are labeled as ARB Old Man Emu:

And the Bilstein shocks, which are still available, have new part numbers.

Bilstein 33-185859 (REAR)
Bilstein 24-185660 (FRONT)

So I'll ask a probably often repeated question. What else would I need for the lift?

Oh dear guess we need a refresher for sure
4 wheel parts NOT
there are a lot of much better places
But then all of them have to charge the same amount really ( since they control pricing for OME )
ARB does in fact own OME, always have nothing has changed at all
use OME 927/948 springs if you want it to sit level
I'll put together a list , plus if looking at complete kits, the OME package rear shocks are for a small lift, not what the 948 rear springs gives you
and as far as Bilstein , no new parts numbers from what I use

Bilstein front 24-139168
Bilstein rear 33-185859 or I like the 24-185660 better
ALLJs ( boulderbars.com )
OK4WD
are just two places
Many places like to try and sell you the whole kit
Teraflex front bumpstops , you have TO CALL THEM to order
4 hockey pucks for the rear bumpstops , 2 per side bolted down to the lower spring perch
2 3/8 inch bolts 2.25 inches long , 2 lock washers, 2 nuts

As of late, off-road warehouse out of sand Diego has fair prices on OME parts. I warn you however they don’t have them in house, so they ship directly from ARB. Lead times are around a month, well worth the wait.

They must be "special" unless things have changed in the past couple of years
ALL ARB/OME parts etc used to come into one central warehouse in the USA, then everyone had to get theirs/buy through them . That is how prices were so close on all parts/springs
We, well JBA when I was working closely with him , tried to buy direct and shipped to him but even with the volume he was selling then, they wouldn't .

They do come from a US warehouse out of Jacksonville Florida. Had some interesting shipping as they Ed pass through Omaha on their way to Jacksonville and then back to me at Omaha. Lol

I have given up battling our machine overlords and their differing skill levels of autocorrect and autofill over multiple devices. Due to horrible nearsightedness, when I'm on my phone I use the auto read and dictation function. Siri struggles with the Pittsburgh accent!

Looking for the rear shocks for a lift and trying to use the part numbers that Tommudd reccomended. All of the Bilstein 24-185660 (which he said he preferred) are the 5100 type, which I have also read he does not recommend. Do they make the Bilstein 24-185660 in the 4,600?

Pretty sure he's referring to the 5100 for the front with the adjustable spring perch. OME 132L is another great rear shock.

That's strange, because I thought for sure I had read many times from him to NOT use a 5100 or we would regret it.

This is his quote from the third post on this page.
"Bilstein front 24-139168
Bilstein rear 33-185859 or I like the 24-185660"

Tom is not a fan of the Bilstein adjustable 5100 front shock, which they say on their website is an alternative to a spacer lift. Like a spacer lift it preloads the springs and stresses out your suspension, shortening the life of bushings, springs, etc. Other 5100 springs by Bilstein are just fine, because they are traditional style shocks. There is nothing wrong with the 5100 line of shocks as a whole. In fact, I have run 5100’s on the rear of my KK for over 100,000 miles now. They are about to be replaced with the same kind.
