Been going through all these steering related issues...I'm new to this Jeep thing so it all gets a bit confusing! When she's cold, first start, steering noisy and a bit juddery, more so manoeuvring with left lock. Seems to behave better when everythings warmed up but still a bit creaky. Firstly, I'm in the UK, so getting hold of the OEM Mopar power steering fluid isn't that easy (or reasonably priced)...is there a safe alternative? My garage guy says the powdr steering pump could be on its way out. Maybe a good flush & fluid change first before I let go the parts cannon?! Sorry for the noob questions!

Can you find ATF+4? That’s what it uses, same as the transmission. But it does sound like the pump might be getting tired.

Smith and Allan do it, quite reasonably priced too.

Yes, that's the one, I use it in the gearbox too.
