Jeepiversary today! One year since I made an impulsive decision and drove it home. Very grateful to have stumbled upon a real cream puff compared to some of the challenges members here have faced.

I bought the Jeep from the Subaru dealer’s used car lot. They sent me a text today recognizing the anniversary and thanking me for my business. How I wish the Chrysler dealer had even half the class of the other guys.
Front springsn’shocks are on the living room floor. Took about four hours, still pretty hot out there. Off to the 4WD shop tomorrow to get the bits moved over, but I might have to wait until late Thursday to pick them up.

Hmm… Ball joint press delivery now delayed until Friday. No loaners available in the area. Guess I’ll pull out those skid plates from deadjeep and see about tidying things up.

I had a devil of a time getting the new bumpstops in. I couldn’t have imagined this task would push me to the limits of my strength. Bloody awkward position as well. At least the arthritis is giving me a break today.
I left the second one out in the sun for about an hour, hoping it might become slightly less stiff. It may have helped, or perhaps I just had the angle of attack figured out, but it did go much faster. There was some screwdriver wiggling as well. Oaths were sworn and epithets were spat.

What kind of ball joint press did you end up going with? Rather than me renting one from the hit and miss store, may be nice to own one this time around.
I'll be ordering some ball joints soon, are greasable moog's still the lbj's to go with?
MOOG K80767 for the ball joint.
