Next available weekend I'll paint the rocker "guards" and that strip on the doors. Don't think I'll be able to match your red lettering though.. that looks sick...I like it.Frakking sweet!

It’s easy. See my threads elsewhere , or PM for materials list. Two hours work. Be nice to have a “brother” out there since it’s based on that Google orange beast!Next available weekend I'll paint the rocker "guards" and that strip on the doors. Thanks for the "shake up" tip...nothing worse than having it not work when you need it.Every month or two turn them upside down & give them a good shake.
One is ok, but having two is better, especially a 5 lb'er.

Got 5 kinds and three ways to make it!Don’t forget the coffee!
Been planning this one for two years, didn’t expect to build a machine for it, but it’s going to be an adventure.I wish I had a big trip to look forward to. Enjoy it 2X for my share.
Possibly. Perhaps there’s some excessive heat from incomplete combustion?I noticed today my exhaust resonator is about ready to separate from the pipe due to rust. Again. It is the third resonator the Jeep has had. I checked my records and it was installed on 6/6/19. Only 2 years old. Are aftermarket exhausts just ****?
Don’t try to use the singular slang for lubricant!^^^ Ha! That word starts with C and ends with p and means poo. Didn’t think it would get censored as it isn’t even a swear word!
There is definitely heat but it’s from a lot of towing at 3000 rpm in 3rd gear.Possibly. Perhaps there’s some excessive heat from incomplete combustion?
You running the skid plates? There is definitely heat but it’s from a lot of towing at 3000 rpm in 3rd gear.
Yes indeed. Wouldn’t do field work up in the PA/MD/WV mountains without them! They don’t cover the part of the exhaust resonator that has repeatedly rusted out though, or trap any significant heat. I think I’m just dealing with cheap aftermarket exhaust components and salt from PA winters. The price of Magnaflow and other quality name brands that would probably last longer is steep though. You running the skid plates?
I wonder if a rattle can of high temp paint would help. Up in Erie we used to call that “PennDotProtectant”Yes indeed. Wouldn’t do field work up in the PA/MD/WV mountains without them!
