Someone sideswiped my Jeep while parallel parking today. The front drivers side fender is either covered with salt and scratches, or gray paint, or a combination of both. Doggone it.

At least no structural issues though, and even the clips that hold the fender on are intact. I wonder how the other vehicle fared?
One of them Mr Clean Magic Erasers dose a good job of removing stuff like that. Follow it up with a good buff and wax!

I’ll give that a shot. The Jeep needs a good wash (including the undercarriage) since the last big snowstorm last week. The weather this weekend is looking good for outdoor work on the Jeep! 50°F and sunny!

Cool. Looks like someone schwacked my right rear flare about a week ago.

I should caution the magic erasers will affect your clear coat, so be aware. (Only thing good about mine being white- can’t see the clearcoat scratches!)

This should be a great thread that we can keep going. That way we can all keep up with the small day to day tinkering and give some ideas to those looking to do something! Pics are strongly encouraged!!! (Cheers)
Okay. Since we bought this off a family friend. We are the 3rd owners. 03 Jeep Liberty Limited. 245000 miles. Bought new spark plugs, 2 spark plug coils were shot, new 245/70/17 tires, 0w-30 oil change for the winter, bought new lower ball joints 2 for front, upper control arms, rear control arms upper and lower, tie rod ends inner and outer. Just about to make a purchase of new shocks all around with 2.5 “ lift. Engine seems to be running fine since we got it.

We love this Jeep. Works fine for our little family of 5. I plan to keep it for a while. Next step is to put money into brakes. And I am also a learner. Not afraid to get my hands dirty. I will do whatever it takes to keep my KJ running.

If it’s painted, yeah. If unpainted flare, goo gone and a Teflon safe kitchen scrubber.
Oh, thanks. Maybe I should try a drop of Goo Gone first. I think they’re just black plastic.

Never final , 4x4 builds are never finished
when I bought the 04 new, first day I started ordering parts to lift it, then found a ARB bumper then,....
for the next 15 years it was a continuous build, better this and that , different bumpers, rock rails, racks etc
Never stopped until I bought the 03 and put the 04 into hibernation for a while
Now with a list of changes once again that I want to do, she is ready for another day in the sun
It was my daily driver all those years as well

Drove in town , 10 miles , live in the country so one grocery store, 2 banks, 2 restaurant 2 bars is 10 miles away
But anyways , got some breakfast, came out couple of guys were looking at my 03
One asks what it is ? Other says I was right when I told them
Wanted to know how I got it so high ?
Said I lifted it and the response was " you are lying , I have one and a ( local ) garage told him there was no lift kits available except for a body lift and he didn't know how to install them "
after telling them there was no frame, so a body lift was not even available , they again argued so,
At that moment I just had to walk away ,..............
sometimes you can't fix stupid

“Your lying” even a guy in Yellowknife, NT, CAN I called about quotes on shocks from Napa. I said I have a 2.5” on my Jeep Liberty. His response was “what!? No here in town? I haven’t seen one lifted before” I laughed and said yeah. There are a few lifted Jeeps up here lol. Had a good laugh at him. Lol. Funny.

Me or them ? LOL
Heck I have had at least 3 people try and tell me that I had a Wrangler frame under the 04 to get it that high !
Told one guy to look and see , response was I don't know what a wrangler frame looks like so I still say you have one
Of course was also told it was a Land Cruiser , not a Jeep Liberty
