mine didn't fail, but the crimps were so swollen from the corrosion/rust on them, I knew it was only a matter of time.
Ordered some new decals from pixeldecals
Old timers on the forums may remember Don from the Chicago area
Started with a Liberty back in the early days of LOST
does great decals , running some of his that are over 15 years old and still look new
I had a few Rock Lizard over the years and used all but one, pulled it out to install when it warms up and one legs torn off/ wrinkled so had to order a new one

My LOST and JBA decals from 2014 are still holding up, although the car wash and my snow scraper have made them a little dog-eared.
I think Pixel did all of the LOST decals that were sold/provided
he still sells them as well

Not right away, but yes, they will all get done once it warms up and I have my garage in order. Of course this happens this weekend while my wife is gone and I’m planning on prettying up the bathroom as a surprise.

Hmm. A surfactant and an antioxidant in distilled water. Chemistry checks out, but “kills salt” is a bit of a reach. Would definitely wash it out.Home | SaltAway

Would still need a good lubricant.
I normally treat such things with Zoom Spout Turbine Oil, but you guys got me hooked on the power of Endura.

I ain’t doing crapola but modifying my girly pug’s wheel assist to four wheel drive. Her rear diff is out so the passenger side is freewheeling and the driverside rear shocks are blown.

Changed out leaking power steering pressure hose with gates. Reused factory bracket.

Washed off all the salt. Lubed everything that needs ****. Applied a coat of hot shine to the Herculiner and wheels. Flushed the power steering.

Smiley Rock trail ,Jerome az went with a bunch of rubicon wranglers and gladiators ..fresh snow and open diffs..it always cracks me up when these 60k rigs and their owners see me hanging with them on the trail in my 2k rig lol. Had it now for 7yrs and got my first body damage ,hard trail made harder with the ice and snow. Rear locker getting ordered on monday!

Weather fairly decent today. Went for a hike. Literally gathered moss for a tardigrade hunt later this week. Practiced a bit with my new welding rig. Gave up until my new glasses (long story- fisticuffs involved wink wink) arrive as my current pair of contacts is distance only and I can't see s.quat to weld. Greatly enjoying getting the new suspension "broken in" or whatever yinz call it.

I got the hose swapped. Easy peasy. But, my parts-store bleeder kit did not have tubing big enough for the bleeder *****… So, I’ll be getting some tubing after work and finishing this evening.
could have just warmed the tube up and worked it on. then it'd be formed to the bleeder for future use.
so what is the People's preferred method of bleeding?
gravity?
pedal forced?
suction?
power bleeder @ the master?
when you do a full fluid change, do you empty the system completely, then add fresh? Before the BAN I kept MOTUL 200 and SuperBLUE in stock here (same fluid, different color) so it was easy to see when fresh was at bleeders.

I did that. It wouldn’t stretch anough.
As far as bleeding, I’ve always done pedal forced. I used a vacuum gun once in shop class, but I ended up getting more bubbles out by pumping the brakes.
