Haunted Bert in the driveway for the trick or treaters. Got a great deal on a Rigid pancake compressor that included a stapler, brad, and finish nail guns from the Despot for 179$ and been hauling lumber and paint and drywall for my ongoing house remodel. Got an oil change, radiator, and transmission flush. Topped off the diff oil, and finally got the u-joints in. Ordered a new tire and got an alignment. Have a third dumpster delivered, so I will actually have my garage back. Have to pull the roof rack off to get Bert to fit, but this means I can actually work on both bert and the bug during the winter. May finally get the third window conversion done.

Seriously considering converting the front seats to a pair from a nissan Frontier. I really do hate liberty front seats.
05 to 07 seats are terrible
best I have found overall are 02 to 04 Limited leather seats VERY comfortable long haul or around town

Finally put the radiator in that I've had for nearly a year. Also water pump, hoses, thermostat, and tensioner. I'm off crutches tomorrow so hopefully I can start putting front end back together.

I went on a grocery run yesterday. When I went to fire up the engine, it fired, stumbled, and died… It’s not the first time it’s happened, but it’s been frequent with the warmer temps we’ve had this week.

Forgot to share this one. Got these swapped out on Monday. Each one was torn but the drivers side was only still connected on one side.

Nice. :D

A 200k Jeep like ours that we take good care of can be in better shape and be more reliable than some 100k Jeeps I’ve seen for sale that were neglected all their lives.

Did some troubleshooting on my A/C as we come into the Aussie summer, looks like the compressor coil is shot and I'll need to replace it. Does anyone have an idea of where I'd be able to source one in Australia? Ideally, I don't want to go to a wrecker because they want to sell the entire compressor assy rather than just the coil.

Available in Europe, see if the part numbers work for you

Got my wiring terminals today and connected the windshield light bar wiring on the Wrangler. I love having the S-pod box and switches already installed. Simple two wires to hook up to it.

Dual flood/spot setup and will get powered up at dark tonight for display and aiming purposes.

Picked up another KJ today, 03 , V6, automatic great interior , typical Midwest rust, like new tires, etc with back glass not latching
Fixed back glass at sale site, took it to car wash, spent 9 bucks on outside wash pulled outside and sold it to a guy in next bay
only made 450 , well minus my 9
Oh the AC kept kicking on and off so people thought something was wrong with the AC compressor LOL and shied away from it

Also at the Sheriffs sale they had 3 Explorer cruisers 2 under 100,000 miles, one was a Captains personal work ride, with 105,000 miles, buddy just installed all 4 new tires on it two months ago ( he does all the tires, OLFs etc )
got it for 1200 and have a guy coming tomorrow to pick it up for 1750
almost kept it ,it is very nice shape , interior looks brand new , outside black and beautiful except for two very small dents
Maybe Ill just start flipping cars , better than chasing 22 year olds

I towed an empty trailer to our deer camp this weekend to bring a brush mower back for my uncle. It was one of those aluminum trailers with the fold up ramp that catches wind like a sail. I couldn’t touch 6th gear with the head wind, but it was fine once I turned north. Today, I came back with it, and I had the head wind all the way back. Nothing like getting less than 13mpg while towing a little mower…

Been doing some elk scouting the last couple of weekends for my upcoming hunt. Spent some time around Young, AZ and they gave me some good tips for hunting areas to check out. Took the Jeep down some “ATV only” trails and it did great! Got some pinstripes on her but doesn’t bother me. That’s why I love having a cheap Jeep.

yea the trailer pretty much boned you. I hate anything with a "ramp" that sticks straight up. open car trailers I do astonishingly well, and v-nose enclosed don't seem to hurt as much as square.
glad to see someone else with a stick who knows how to tow. :D
