Could be 2 more hours, could be 2 more years. It's easy to replace.

This is true but not relatively cheap. Good thing I'm at college and it's not getting driven. Fall break wrenching fest fast approachig!

$150. Cheaper than letting it go, and the hub coming apart on the highway.

This is also very true and a scary reality. New hub moved to top of list. Pepboys employee discount prepare to get some more abuse

Picked up a set of yokes from an 04,blasted and painted them for when I switch out the OME meds for HD's (sitting in shed).
Also a couple of pics showing the bolt size difference between an 04 and 07.

Yesterday...Took the Libby out to get dirty...and hunt down some fall colors. Unfortunately, due to drought and hot temps this summer, the colors are just not popping like they normally do here in Utah. The sky was cloudy and really blown out, but we still found some nice places and had fun and got a few decent pics. Oh...and I enjoyed the 41° F temp with a few snowflakes drifting by as we came up over one of the passes! :)

Are you sure those are the right bolts? Never seen one threaded all the way on any and I've done 02 through 07s
Sure painted them up real pruty like
Used to think it would be cool to have an extra one or two just in case, now I have them hanging everywhere

The same bolts are on my 06 Renegade too.

Yep, Rustoleum Professional gloss. I've had good results with it (tough stuff).

I used that on my undercarriage once...it was on sale at Menards. Great paint...but now I'm using the regular one because I can get 2 cans of it for half of the Professional one. Get great results with either.

Odd my 03, 05 & 07 are all threaded too. I haven't seen one on a liberty that hasn't been completely threaded. Had no clue they made them not completely threaded.

Installed the new 4X Guard ****** skid :head3:

If you remember in a previous post I mentioned that my '03 is an oddball with a driver's side downpipe and the crossover pipe that hang down lower than most. So the first skid Marlin from JBA sent me wouldn't clear the downpipe. Sent him pics and he made the skid a few inches wider to clear the pipe, powdercoated it, shipped it last Monday and I got it on Tuesday. Didn't have time to install it till today.

Thing is heavy, fits great and I feel a bunch better about the LOST ECS trip to Tennessee having this skid protecting the ******. I highly recommend it! (Yes, there is a bolt missing in the second pic. I wasn't done installing it when I snapped the shot...)
