That's faster than what I thought....I was thinking around 10 seconds...

Well, mines an 04 limited, 4x2... Not having the extra weight of 4x4 components helps. I also was sitting on 3/8 of a tank. When my Libby shipped from the factory, her ship weight was 3675lbs. That was her as she sits now, plus 5 gallons of gas. Seems like she's on the light side compared to the typical liberty.

Keeping with the thread, I changed the tensioner pulley today.

Not all today, but in the last week: finally mounted a decent set of tires (GY Silent Armour, 245/75-16) on new alloy wheels, added a Rola Cargo Basket on a pair of homemade custom rack rails, then washed the Winter crud off it after an oil change and lube job. Installed new and better wiper blades. Then conditioned the headlight covers to clean up the stone pits. Really need to spend a few hours detailing inside and out....always seems to run better after, as if appreciating the pampering. Had planned a new windshield today (Colorado eats them), but it's snowing. Maybe next week.

Tried to figure out a good place to mount my new Ka-bar knife so that it is not "concealed" as the cops around here would not like to stumble upon a ten inch knife hidden under my seat if they ever "took a look around my jeep".

I got mine serviced but thinking i got ripped off. My bill was 800us. Full mega service including diff oil change and new blower switch in the dash.
Marked the wheel nuts with marker pen and realised he didnt even take off the wheels to do brake, calliper etc inspection. Is it possible to do it properly without taking the wheels off? Jeep liberty renegade. 2005

Hansen - rotor wear can be seen with the wheels on, but pad wear can't. Besides, doesn't a "full inspection" usually include tire rotation? That seems like a boatload of $$$ for changing fluids.

took off the front pass tire to investigate sheared wheel studs. Looks like I can get by with just replacing the studs, not the intire hub assembly.

Cleaned it real good today. While filling up the windshield wiper fluid, I noticed my MAP sensor was missing the rightside bolt... It was replaced under warranty 4 months ago. Will this cause any issues? Looking at the manual it appears that both bolts require 25lb of tq.

Colorado definitely eats windshields. I always stayed far back from the plow trucks and never had an issue. Somebody driving in front of me on I-25 was always the source of my windshield chips/cracks....In other news I changed the oil and made a trip to Napa to get new pads and rotors for next weekend.:happy160:

What did you do to your jeep today?...

installed new windshield wiper arms today.

must now figure out what to do with the rear wiper.
looks like I will have to cut down a universal refill blade to fit the short the 11" arm. not finding ready-made replacements at the parts counter or online.
