Cleaned engine bay
Before & After;
detailed the exterior and added another layer of sealant: $0
changed the oil and filter with royal purple and bg moa: $40
pulled/inspected/regreased the caliper slide bolts: $0
mounted and balanced the new duratracs: $0
realizing that you did $400 worth of work in just a few hours on a weekend because you have the tools, knowledge, and an uncle with one hell of a shop: Priceless.
realized i have an axle seal leak on the passenger rear side, i guess i should get to re-gearing asap.
this weej and next weekend i plan on getting an alignment, inspection, cleaning the underside and applying fluid film and rechecking the balance of the wheels.
on a side note: can anyone tell me if there is a way to regear the front axle without pulling the whole unit out, from the looks of it that is what needs to happen? or by some miracle is there an easier way to go about it?

Wrote it up for you on another threadyea i have seen you mention shortcuts before, what might those shortcuts be? i have a shop to do all of the work in and my uncle is more than capable of doing the differential work. but i would like to avoid any unnecessary steps in getting the front axle out of the jeep lol.
Wrote it up for you on another thread
got it, thanks for all of your help (and more importantly patience in dealing with all the questions).
this weekend i'll be counting the splines on my rear axles to verify that i can put a DTT in the rear. i know it isn't the best option for offroading but sadly i never have time for any real fun so i will be doing it for the benefit of daily driving with light occasional offroad use.
