What did you do to your jeep today?

I've been tempted to ask for a step ladder so when I hand wash the Jeep I can get the roof at the house. First time in a long while I've owned a vehicle I can't reach the roof to clean.

Just stand on the rear tire like I do! For the front half open the front doors and use the handle. Or just buy a RV brush. That helps me a lot in the winter.

I believe Line-X has a color that is almost army green available. I'd love to Line-X my whole Jeep but the sunroof kinda puts me off from doing it.

I'm just trying to flush them out a bit with my Mud Guards is all. Last time I ran spacers was on the rear of my Focus was for a similar thing with stability purposes. 5mm width makes a huge difference with a properly tuned suspension, though all I did was take the wheel off throw the spacer on, put the wheel back on and just torque it down a couple extra pounds never had any issues since I was still able to hand turn the lug nuts 7 times. Unfortunately I am only able to turn the lug nuts four times with the 8mm spacers so I went the route of extended studs. I had found open ended lug nuts with shanks on the end which one can use to avoid extended studs if they have wide wheels with deep centers. Saturday gave me a grim vision of what could happen when we had a car come in with a capped lug nuts that had shanks on them, long story short the shanks snapped off and we had to drill out the studs to get the wheel off.

Was able to replace the stud without needing a new wheel hub. My friend in Australia will be picking up the tail lights, full rear wiring loom for me so I'm one step closer to Rear Fogs!

Just got a smokin deal on an ARB front bumper for my 07 from Ouipack/ARB Canada.
They are having a warehouse clearance sale.
I got it for $899.95cdn+sh+tx= $1429.66cdn to my door.
That's equal to the retail price before sh/tx.

If you're on the fence, now is the time to shop for one.(not sure how many they have in stock).

Replaced the lifts for the rear glass. It will be nice to not hit my head when going for tools, but I got to remember to stand further back when I open it now. That glass really smarts when it hits your face now that it comes up so fast. Forgot I changed them and in a hurry opened it. DOH!!

I also added cup holders to the center console in back so the kids don't have to use the door ones and splash junk around when they close the doors.

mount and balance duratracs
alignment
inspect/clean and regrease (replace if needed) caliper slide bolts
check brake pads, replace if i need to
state inspection
wash and remove tar from roadwork in my area (add another coat of sealant)
detail the interior
maybe a trip to the range

Tire rotation, oil change, transfer case fluid change. Added Lucas to the rear differential. Put the transfer case skid back on. Greased my u joints. Checked my front differential level. All good to go!
