-I see Wicked Bruce now has a wicked looking :Whoa: Jeep!
I had no idea it was going to look that good! Very Nice work!

-ElCheapo normally the alternator does the charging, jeep is not running in photo.
Behind the battery you can see the C-Tek battery charger, it's output is what was currently being seen by the VOM's. :anitoof:

-Prof, Good to get the salt off the Jeep, even if it lasts a few days. No pics?
I generally try to find the DIY hand power wash bays, But if the girls can do the windows..well...that's special!
I am going to try to save for a pro detail for my Jeep this year. A good wax & buff job is really needed. :)

 All in good fun. I think I'm going to like it here, good sense of humor amongst ya.
Prof, brings to mind the car wash from Cool Hand Luke!pics2.gif

For "rock lights" you need them to show whats in front of your tires and suspension / diffs to be effective. At least thats where we always installed ours so you could see before you hit something
Looks like you need some more in better locations

Changed brake pads, rotors, and parking brake shoes yesterday, finished up today. Man I wish I had a garage, too cold up here!

Still have a lot of little things to fix, but my next big project is going to be a lift kit/tires this summer.

Unfortunately the pictures don't show how bright they actually are. But I can see in front of the tires, behind the tires, and to the side of the tires. I didn't need the back tires to cover as much of a wide area, because by the time I've gotten to the back tires on the trail, I already know where things are. You can see in this picture that they go well enough forward for me to see.

Risked life and limb to go to the gym. Survived.

Then risked life and limb to take a bunch of pictures of my iced-over Jeep. They sucked, but here is the best of the lot:

Got the same thing here! Everything is a sheet of ice. Had about two inches of snow then sleet and then hours of rain. Gonna try to skate up the drive to put the garbage out but may have get the creepers out.

Everything here is ice, too. And it just got down to 24°. Lots of people without power.

Our ancient RV has an equally-ancient Onan 4.0kW CCK generator. And I have a portable 1kW generator, too.

We just replaced the 240 well pump with a 120 well pump, so now the generator(s) run about everything in the house.

I've got a fireplace and a gas grill so with a big pot to melt snow = Plenty of water I guess. :icon_lol:

Do have a 120 well pump we still need to put in a bypass for a generator. Lots of flashlights and batteries. Last year we lost power in the coldest stretch for three days. We survived. Don't have to worry about the food spoiling at least.

HiPoTek 65.5mm throttle body about to be installed!

Question for you. Are you planning on getting it flashed and tuned after that? Was thinking about it myself but talked to a few racing guys and they suggested if I get a bigger throttle body to get a tune done as well.

Interested to see how this works out. I was, like you tried, looking at the 4.7L throttle bodies that supposedly also fit. But it looks like yours didn't. You'll have to post up results!

I assume you're getting it tuned, as well?

From what I've read it's not big enough to require a flash and tune. Just something to wake it up a little.

The one for the 4.7 didn't fit so I sold it on eBay. The 2004 that I did didn't work with mine since my 2003 has a 2002 throttle body and wiring harness(who knew?) so the sensors wouldn't work. Sent that one out for some testing on an 04. So I got impatient and bought one.
