Was nice enough I actually got to wash the Libby BY HAND!!! It badly needed some TLC after the winter we had.

Problem is, getting up close and personal I could see all the work ahead of me to get it looking the way it should. I hate €=¥=&÷× rust!!! :favorites68:

Noticed the left-hand side of my third brake light is out when my hubby went to pick up his daughter from work. I don't have those bulbs here, so I'll have to pick 'em up tomorrow.

Yesterday, but forgot to post.

Touched up a couple little door dings and a few rock chips on the edge of the hood. When the touch up paint went on it was so perfect I had a hard time finding the places where I had applied it. When checking it today it had dried slightly darker. Going to put a little clear coat over it if it doesn't rain tomorrow.

Re-bent the heatshielding over the pipe to the Muffler, see how that goes it was bent out of shape probably from winter. So that should eliminate the rattling noise from under the Jeep.

Mine would rattle no matter what I did so I put a metal hose clamp around it, A year later still no rattle.

A kid at work told me he ran over a Honda with his mall crawler wrangler yesterday. I told him it's natural for a jeep to get hungry if you don't take it off road at least once in awhile.

Never had one go bad. Only had the Libby under 2 years...gimme a break!

None of my other vehicles has ever used a 921.

Don't feel bad, I have had mine since September 2004 and still has stock bulbs so no spares either

It is amazing how may KJ owners run around town with brake lights out.
Do they never check the rear with brakes on?
This topic reminds me to remove the cyclop light and clean/wax around it again.
While it is off, I generally just throw a new bulb in there for good measure.

Drove it in the rain and some ridiculous traffic. Does wonders for gas mileage when it takes 2.5 hours to go 40 miles. :favorites68:

At least it was warm enough to not miss my lack of heat.

Even more amazing considering you can see the brake lights while sitting in the driver's seat. [emoji47]

Which is why I am a firm believer we need safety inspections in all states but we run into an issue because each state has their own revision for lighting laws. Some states still only require one brake lamp. Fact: You can have amber reverse lights in the state of Washington. Fact: it is illegal in most states to hang anything from your center mirror under working it inhibits view out of the front windshield.

Ya & some folks do not maintain anything!
Like the poor KJ at the gas station tonight...ya buddy, your headlight is out, you have one working brake light, your all seasons are bald, and your Jeep is sagging so bad, & NO I do not want to see the interior or under the hood!
OMG what a beater !! :icon_lol:

I pulled the cyclop today, cleaned and waxed around the light, & changed the bulb. The original bulb was bad!! :icon_lol:

You can see how the wires hang out there. I may put some plastic wire loom on them in the future! Going to make them friction proof.
