Over the weekend i put on some powerstop front brakes and rotors $150 for the set shipped solved my wobbles when braking which is a relief it was pretty dangerous hitting brakes doing anything over 40mph so at 80mph it was flat out reckless

Drove it out to the Skyline Drive - Shenandoah National Park (U.S. National Park Service) .

Notice I said "to" the Skyline Drive. I got there late in the day and discovered that the admission is now $20. Last time I went it was $2.50. I might consider that for a whole day or if camping, but not just for a couple hours up and down the road. I told the Park Ranger I just wanted to drive on the road - not buy the daggone thing. :emotions34:

Drove it to work and back. Got it up to 75 real quick rides smooth again. Going to be a nice trip out to Omaha middle of July now.

Picked this up 5 miles from home yesterday, unbolted all the extras, sanded/ painted/ installed ( yes 4.10s/ out of low mileage 2004)
Old diff was starting to make strange noises, picked this up for under half of what new gears etc would of been

Nice!!

You gonna swap your Yukons into the new diff? Bet you get your swap done in half the time it took for mine - your KJ knows how to unbolt components before you even get out the wrenches, right?

seems that I broke both front upper control arm in the wood last week. The passenger side one was the worst with a broker ball joint XD Got them both replaced and now I'm poor. But I still love my jeep. Now I'm ready to go back in the woods!!!

Turned over 60,000 miles on the way to work today. It had 42,000 miles on it when I bought it so I am now responsible for 30% of its overall travels. When I hit 84,000 I might have a little party to celebrate it being mostly "mine". Who knows, maybe I'll even have it paid off by then.

Long story short, but when I bought it two years ago the previous owner had left a registration card in the manual. Being curious, I looked them up. They also had vanity tags representing a business. Their home and their business were about two miles apart so I'm figuring their total weekly commute was about 20 miles. 42,000 miles in 6.5 years on their part. 18,000 miles in two years on mine. Half of mine has been trips back and forth from Cleveland to VA.
