Drove it another 500-600 Km this weekend.
{I'm too tired and I didn't look at the odometer when I exited our car!}
Our KJ needs either big air bags in the rear coils or stiffer/higher spring rate springs back there.
I keep bottoming out and bouncing off the bump stops with four people in our Rig and a full load of recovery/FirstAid gear, food, beverage and water, and camping equipment.

Any suggestions anyone?

I'm thinking those four inch lift coils like Tom just acquired, or a set of six lift rear coil springs plus a Firestone AirBag system.

We carry allot of equipment with us and add essential equipment/supplies as funding permits.

Gotta redo the front suspension as well.
The H/D Frankenlift OME coils are done!
Pretty good I guess for 4 years of daily driving, long distance travel and heavy
off road service with a heavy load all the time.

Agreed. I'd suggest a Crew Cab with short box rather than a van...but go Dodge over Ford (hehe - that'll start something!) Not sure the extra payload in a 350 is worth the money, unless you really need it. When we travel in the Liberty to a customer's ranch for our Equine First-Aid class we're loaded with gear, albeit two dogs instead of people, but the gear tends to weigh pretty heavy sometimes and fill her up. Sure, the Liberty does well (and drives fine), but our veterinary truck (Dodge 2500 TD) is better for haulin' since it's made for it...plus you don't have to take the spare off to hook up the camper. Newer trucks are more comfortable than they used to be...like driving your Living Room around, and plenty of cupholders and do-dads. Otherwise I'd suggest a mini-van (ok, just kidding on that last part.)
