Dropped the jeep off at the body shop. Getting the hood and rear quarter re painted. All because of a small dent the whole quarter has to be done. They did an excellent job in fixing the rust by the windshield a week ago. Can't wait to get it back Thursday then installing the rear boomerang

Dropped it off at the shop. I'm suspecting a wheel bearing, but with the knee still bothering, I can't yet do the work myself:thumbsdown:

Hey John, any latest developments on those flares?

:happy175::happy175::happy175::happy175::happy175::happy175::happy175:
I think I said this somewhere else, the flare was off so I could trim it to fit the side guard. I had zip tied the liner so I could make a run to the hardware store. Here they are all trimmed and back in place.

Installed a new alternator today in the parking lot at work. Bearings were making noises, and didn't want to get stranded somewhere.

Got in the transmission and transfer case skid plates. Put them on and they look good under there. I already feel better about going off road here in a couple of weeks.

Just for fun, shi** and giggles )
but of course now I may have to use the Moabs and buy some new tires
These are very worn out 265-75-16s
black 4.5 inches of lift -vs- 2.5 inches of lift on old green
always said you could throw a cheap set of wheels and tires on anything and double the price

I got a new spare tire to match the rest of what is on the jeep already. I also trimmed up the rear bumper. And finally I got it emissions tested, new registration, and new license plates.

Thanks, Bob. He has late-stage Alzheimers, so it really would be a blessing for everyone. In the meantime, it's awful.
