Bob: did you replace it w/ a mopar part or aftermarket?
any recommendation for any aftermarket parts?

This is on my to do list and I hope i have that hatch.

I replaced it with a Delphi unit from NAPA. Price was right and availability was next day. Dealers around me weren't sure how long it would take to get the part - too bad cuz I wanted a Mopar pump since the original lasted so long. But wasn't sure the old one was going to last much longer.

The fuel filter isn't available from Mopar anymore so I went with one from Crown Automotive.

My plan was to reuse the factory fogs in the ARB but they changed the design so the OEM lights wouldn't fit. So I bought the ARB fogs and a set of IPF's. With the fogs, the IPF's, the hi-beams and the Renegade light bar on at the same time...

Yea, it's bright :happy175:

is it DFP FG1222 for the pump assembly?

What fuel filter did you end up using? I couldn't find one on napa's site.

did you seal your hatch back up w/ rtv after you were all said and done?

Thanks!

Yep, that's the Delphi part number I used. Perfect fit. NAPA doesn't sell a fuel filter for the Liberty - all their parts books say it's non-serviceable. So I went with a Crown Automotive filter from Summit Racing (their corporate headquarters is right up the road from me) and got it for $36 - part number 52100402AF.

I didn't use RTV - I used silicone sealant. The trunk lining/rhino lining is what I'd like to get to seal it up from the top. There's just a tiny cut around the outer edge of the access hatch but for peace of mind I'd like to seal it.

Yesterday, brushed the dirt and bugs out of the condenser, then sprayed with Simple Green to soak while I got out the hose. Then hosed it off...

And today, enjoyed instant cold air instead of delayed. It didn't look that dirty, but I guess it was.

Yesterday I got it a little dirty from the city digging up the roads around my house
Also, ordered a flip-out transponder key for only $10 just to have one that looks more modern and doesn't stab my leg when I sit
Perfect fit, just swap the internal components into the new
Got it cut for $3 at a local hobby shop
Hopefully tomorrow if it doesn't rain all day, I'll put my coil spring airbags in since I got my air compressor in the mail yesterday
Also ordered new fogs, planning to put those in this weekend !
They are crazy bright so hopefully all goes well

MONEY MONEY MONEY :Big Laugh:

Installed my AirLift airbags into my rear springs

Dirty undercarriage but the bags work great

My valve stem location

They raise the rear up I'd say close to an inch or more fully inflated
I filled them both up to 12psi for now, we'll see how it feels when I go for a ride!
Only took me about 45mins (had to remove pucks and upper bumpstop)
Longest part was figuring out where to run the hose
Overall, I'm very happy with the results so far

Also, my new onboard air is very handy!
The unit is only about 7"-8" long and comes with mounted pressure gauge, carrying bag, about 10ft of air hose, different attachments, and spare fuses- all for only about $35

Next.. new fog lights!

Looks good. I really like the valve stem location!

Thanks!
It worked out perfectly, the valve stems were about 1/16th smaller than the license plate holes so it slid right into place
Also, the location makes it very easy to air them up and I didn't have to drill into random parts of the bumper

Details? Or new thread?

connector melted again.
I'll post updates on that old thread after I attempt to debug everything again tomorrow AM if it doesn't rain.

I suspect that when I have the AC blower at max, the PWM to the e-rad fan is high and things become too hot.

But I think I'm going to use a different connector, i don't like the blade style it uses.

The fan and relay are both new aftermarket ones.

is it just me or are photobucket images not working for anyone else?

put a sample piece of automotive vinyl wrap I got over the damaged part of the roof. at least for now it's not bare metal exposed to the elements until I get a chance to pull the roof liner and get to pounding the dent out.
