I'm not sure what is going on at Napa lately. Is their Ultra premium rotors still USA made or?
I went Ultra Premium rotors and also Adaptive one pads rear, and no problems but the outside of hat is rusting up now.
I need to pull rear wheels soon anyways, and get the rust off the hats soon before winter.
Front I have OEM Mopar rotors & new Mopar semi-metallic pads which have been perfect.

I just got a set of Napa Premium rotors and semi metallic pads for the XJ, guess I'll see how they are. Made in China. Although the Centric rotors I put on the KJ are Chinese but they've been great.

Went wheeling this last weekend. Haven't had time to post the pictures yet due to travel for work. First time the Jeep has only been on three wheels. It was a good trip to the top of Kingston peak. Plan on going out again next weekend and getting in some more wheeling. Going to try and get out to Rollins pass when I go next. The only issue after getting down off the mountain is that my ABS and traction control idiot lights are still on.

I planned to go to an off road park this weekend but that was scrapped due to injury - me not the Liberty. :icon_sad: I ruptured my left Achilles tendon so after surgery next week I'll be in a cast for 6-8 weeks. Luckily I can still drive as its not my right foot but I won't be up to the task if I need to dig out/winch/strap/fix anything off road. I should be all healed up by the time the snow flies so I'll have to look forward to driving in that. My hunting season is over before it started which stinks double as I usually drive the Jeep a lot to camp and back.

That's brutal - both the injury and the loss of hunting season and other fun. Heal well, do what the doctors/therapists tell you! :waytogo:

bike rack and bikes are on the jeep. planning on some family riding this sunday.
new alignment is good, thankfully.

re: brakes.
screw NAPA. spend the money and get EBC Yellow Stuff all around along with their slotted rotors. those things are INSANE how well they work. I'll admit they're pricey... I paid about $429 for all 4 corners. they're worth it though, especially when I plan on towing.

USR7225, USR1478, DP41623R, DP41612R are the part numbers

Went and washed off the dust from the wheeling trip last weekend. Put some weather stripping on my 22" light bar to stop it from whistling. I also started to give it a nice coat of black paint on the under carriage as well as some of the rust stop paint for the little bit of rust that was under there. It looks really clean with the new coat of paint underneath. Ran out of paint so I stopped for the day.

Paid about the same for my Napa set.

That being said...I will probably be getting another Napa set. My buddy is going to get my loaded caliper kits dirt cheap. Can't say no to that.

just got reminded I have to pick up a picnic table and 9 chairs today. table is 5x9, and I have to transport it on a 4x8 trailer. which means I have to yank the bikes and rack off.

Took the 03 in for the R60 Occupant Restraint Control Module RECALL today !!
Having owned over 35 new cars ( and over 100 used ones ) this is the first time I have ever taken a vehicle into a dealership or other repair shop for anything but alignments. ( and I even worked at a Dealership for a few years.)

I took our 02 in last Thursday for this and still don't have it back! They replaced the original which was working fine from all indications (Air bag light comes on and then goes off when you start it) and they're telling me that the replacement leaves the air bag light on and they can't communicate with either the replacement or the original, but when you put the original back in the air bag test light still seems to be working correctly. (Argh)

They have a call/mail into Jeep but I'm tempted to just tell them to put the original back in and forget about it. I'm worried this "free" recall work is going to end up costing me money as they'll find something else wrong. :(

even better, get there with trailer in tow, and the stuff is total CRAP.
so I wasted my time getting unpacked, packed, and now unpacked and packed again.
