The front is marked 5/8th/s if I remember right.
The Rear, well if ya took a trimmed piece off, be easy enough to match it up.
It also may still be readable on the hose it itself.
Get it mounted up high, like up around the filler neck.

except I threw it out into the giant dubmpster before thinking
x.x

I'll just make an attempt to go look at it again. no biggie.
Just thought if someone knew.

It needs a more sturdy hose. The OEM hose has no internal braiding/weave.

Worked on my third brake light today, figured I could clean it up instead of buying a new one

Here's the ugly cloudy housing and faded screws:

Right after final coat of clear:

Finished product with newly painted black screws as well just to complete the look:

Ended up doing a wet sand, first with 80 grit and then with 220 grit (all I had on hand)
I applied 4 good coats of Rust-Oleum High Gloss clear which is UV and yellowing resistant- the can says it takes 24 hrs to completely dry so we'll see!
Looks much better IMO and a very easy job

Took the 03 in for the R60 Occupant Restraint Control Module RECALL today !!
Having owned over 35 new cars ( and over 100 used ones ) this is the first time I have ever taken a vehicle into a dealership or other repair shop for anything but alignments. ( and I even worked at a Dealership for a few years.)
VERY strange feeling for sure .

Even the Rear LCA Recall a few years back , I took a set of used ones into a dealer and swapped them for new ones on the 04 so I could install myself.
The 04 never did get a rear hitch from the recall
The 05 my StepFather took it in for the hitch since he's been driving it.

SO this was a new experience for me . :Insane::Insane:

How do you all handle it, ( the ones that take yours in for everything including oil changes / tune ups etc) ???

I mean come on someone else having their hands all over your baby!:happy175:

I used a chuck of gas line on the 04, forget what size, I can look if you still need to know

I only took my '05 in when I first got the transmission in for the rear lower control arms recall, cut and program a second key and a transmission quick learn.

Rear LCAs installed fine, cut & program second key went fine but the ********* decided I wanted the latest software for the transmission downloaded and installed (which it already had), not a quick learn since I'd swapped transmissions. Which I said to the service writer not once, not twice but THREE times.

I've never taken it back there. The only place I take my baby is for tires - I have no way to mount or balance them. I rotate on my own.

Oil change, tire rotation and plug change.
Just rolling up on 90,000kms.
Plugs were a nice salmon pink and gapped to .044 from .040 at 30,000kms.

Years ago, I had a girlfriend, who was an entertainer at a topless club. She worked there before we met, so it wasn't a shock to me that guys got a little touchy-feely with my girlfriend. I also worked part-time in the industry in marketing and promotions, so I knew how it all worked. I have to have mechanics do most of the work on my KJ because I have health issues that prevent me from doing it. But just like my girlfriend, all the real love is mine and mine alone. All it takes is trust. I know the bad guy (dirt roads, cheap gas, sloppy driving) wants to tear it up, but I have good people looking out for her and I dote on her every way I can and we are happy together (in the case of my GF, until she moved to AZ for college).

There's lots of things I can no longer do because of my lungs. I have learned to just let go. Other things have come along that I am able to do - and do with just as much satisfaction as previous pursuits.

Bought it NAPA Adaptive One pads and Ultra Premium rotors. Damn, those things are heavy...

Will be doing the work this weekend.

All of my Napa rotors glazed over pretty bad. The rear pads (adaptive one) were good though. The ultra premium fronts fell apart pretty quick. The backing plate came off and caused a ton of squealing.
