I left mine out in the drizzling rain, where I thought for sure I heard a whimpering, "drive me... please drive me, please." Tempted as I was, I know I have to wait until after the alignment to try out my new 3" lift.

Ya was frigid here last night, and I plugged in block heater and a battery charger.

After driving popped the hood and went for an hour lunch.
Obviously the trickle charging was appreciated with reading over 13 volts!

Frigid and Vancouver don't equate... -23 here yesterday morning, ran like a charm. Guess I'll pull the block heater out since it's almost winter. :gr_grin:

Ran about 800 miles last couple of days, bad BCM and leaking radiator :happy175:
Radiator started about 30 minutes before I left, glued it and ran 75-80 all the way down to NC and back:winner_third_h4h:

but...burr..= still one refrigerated Jeep!
Until the 15-20cm snow storm tomorrow night is gone, and maybe finally turning to rain Monday? Will see..
Took 20+ minutes to warm Jeep without the block heater.
Checked Transfluid once it was driven, and added some Windex winter washer fluid today.

So you're in the -20C range which is -4F....my KJ takes about 7 mins to blow warm air in those temps without the block heater and fully warmed up like after 10 mins. Although like 3-5 mins after I start it I set off, so that probably helps it warm up quicker.

After all that freezing rain and 66-car pileup (and propane tanker bomb) just up the road here yesterday, it's now 62° :Insane:

But then it's going to start dropping about 1pm - but take over 12 hours to get back down to freezing. This weather *****.

Put my snorkel to the test last weekend. We went camping and had to go through a deep water crossing. The water came over the bonnet (hood). I used a car bra too, and it worked really well at keeping water out of the engine bay. No worries at all! The cabin didnt leak either, which was nice.

It was some pretty heavy off roading, actually. We drove about 30kms over soft, hilly sand dunes and about 20kms along a beach to reach our camp site. The Jeep handled it really well, without getting stuck once. The front lockers came in very useful and I used Part-time 4wd on the sand.

One problem i did have was with the gear ratio. Its not ideal for heavy sand. When driving on the beach, i need to hit about 80km/hr before it finds that next gear and the revs can then drop down. This isnt the easiest or safest to do on soft sand so my Jeep was stuck around the higher RPMs of 3rd gear. This (combined with the A/C being on) caused the engine to get hot. We stopped and let it cool down then continued on, with the AC off and the heater on for extra help. This worked and the temp didnt move again past normal. It was 35 degrees celcius outside so it made for an uncomfortable, hot drive!

It was a really fun trip and I thank my Jeep for getting me there! :icon_razz:
