DOWN to five vehicles??? I'm having a swell of a time keeping TWO going...

I have a hard enough time with my 4 needy ones lol.

Would be easier if they were all the same or at least the same brand but I've got a Toyota (08), Subaru (01), Ford (98), a Dodge (11) and two KJs (02/05). The Dodge and Subaru are out of town so I only see them when they REALLY need something or oil/fluid changes. Never have to do anything to the Toyota. Bought new and now has 220k. Only thing its ever needed were 3-4k oil changes and plugs at about 120k. ****** has a drain plug so occasional drain and refill. IMHO, Toyota's really are all that!

FSM for the 2007 MY Liberty... anyone have a source for one? I'd even be willing to buy the actual books. Best I have right now is the up to 2006 MY manuals, but they don't cover the changes to the electronics and equipment for the only-year Drive-by-wire setup mine has.

Suddenly avoiding '07s.

Yea. somehow in my 13 months of research, I totally did not get the memo on it being the one and only year the KJs had DbW, and I've found no mention of how, argumentative, it is with a stick shift.

disclosure: part of the reason i'm asking (other than I like having the FSMs for all the car I plan on keeping for multiple decades) is, I've found a 2005 stick going for a rather ******** low price near enough to make it worth picking up, and i'm contemplating if it's possible to swap the cable throttle and systems over from the 05 to the 07. I know the ECU would need a VIN number change (if that's even possible?) and i'm figuring with the FSM I can determine what if any electrical wiring issues there might be.

I made a new friend with an LR3. The v8 sounds amazing in it.

I have the factory manuals that were sent to the dealerships, can find used ones on line, a bit expensive but worth every penny when you need info/ pictures etc. Some of them even have notes the Techs wrote in them

I used alldatadiy.com for online access for the FSM for my 2003 Sunfire. I think it was $25/year back then and it also had full text for all TSB's/recalls

Hey, there's a med that works and we caught it before it got bad.

I just can't play in the sun - or even close - until I'm done.
