Replaced the front and rear diff oil. The rear was especially bad. It had the colour and consistency of melted chocolate.

I guess i'm jacking the front end up again and yanking things around to see if I feel the appropriate sloppiness.

And yes the rabbit was still under the hood and just would not leave the shop.
Heard there's an update to my 02 and 03 pcv system that doesn't use the filler neck. Anyone heard of this? I wouldn't mind adding this if it meant replacing the old crusty filler neck with a new one that didn't collect oil/moisture residue.
There was a TSB to switch it to the 07 style which puts the PCV by the firewall, maybe they had that done?

Odd I have never had any of that on my '02.
I've always used Mobil 1 5w-30 and run the piss out of the engine and I also change the PCV every year also with a dealer one.
