Changed out the belt after a front main seal. It was getting loud so I went for a high end Continental Poly V. The difference was immediately noticeable. The engine is SO much quieter with this new belt I can actually hear the motor now.

Onto the front left wheel, can't determine if it's caliper or bearing issue.

Always get remaned. They accidentally gave me a new one once and it was clicking within a week.

Backwards.

Some wear on a reman is still there. Can't be less unless it's new. Confused parts maybe.

My previous set was a Napa reman'd and I had a boot pop off within the first month. The warranty will not cover anything involving the boot. I repacked the grease and it lasted me about 9 months until the boot got two holes in it and even packed it again but it died after wheeling a bunch with no swaybar.

I have the new axle in my passenger side and went wheeling the next day and no problems so far but I will be keeping an eye on it. If I get any clicking I'll just warranty it. For only $79 I'm willing to give it a shot.

I also killed my e-fan again. I jynxed myself as I just posted about killing one forgetting to turn off my AC in the summer before doing a water crossing. This time I forgot to turn off my defroster before crossing a mud hole. Luckily we were only a few miles from an Advanced so I just bought a new one and swapped it in the parking lot. I got the one I just killed from Advanced too so I'm going to warranty it at the one I bought it from (they don't share warranty info between stores) and then return the warranty'd one from the one I bought the new one at with the new replacement they give me.

I got a Napa axle and inner boot seemed inflated, think balloon, I thought it might equalize on its own. It did by tearing open about 2 weeks old. It was warrantied without protest.

I drove it to the post office to pick up a Flat Rate box for the tow hooks.
Then I washed it and drove it through a few car dealer lots....

I've never been so unenthused about buying a new vehicle:blah:

Picked up the LR3 from the shop today. New OEM radiator and had a gasket on the oil cooler replaced, $1000. So at $1300 so far this month for it...one of those months.

It's needy but in a different way than the KJ. The KJ just has to get regular high mileage stuff done. The LR3 is more random.

I just patched the fuel tank again on the shadow.
also discovered why the engine's been sounding more "throaty" lately; muffler seam is rotted out, there's a hole in the back of the muffler, the pipe connected to it is soft and wiggly (rot), the main pipe is rotting and perforating. basically everything from the cat back has pretty much begun to disintegrate... much like the rest of the car :D

much plowing. many snow flakes. 6.5 hours of hard labors.
tomorrow i'll probably hook up the hose to the hot water tank, hose it and the plow down, and clean it out.
this spring/summer it's getting a full/massive interior detail.

also, some moron drove a new model jeep cherokee off the road near my house. way to go, making the brand look bad.

We had about 3.5 inches of that white crap over here, THANKFULLY we got the UHaul all unloaded before it cut loose

Took it skiing.

Actually it took me skiing. I don't think I'm allowed to drive it up to the top, no doubt it'd make it. :D

I scheduled to have the body work on to fix my accident damage. I can't wait to have my jeep back and all fixed up, and ready for battle again.
