Ok, time for a ****** swap...LOL

Dave

Yup. Old one's completely out of the way, just need to replace the filter and put up the new. Exhaust is ready, all the goodies are ready.

Oh! I do need to flush the cooler first, though. Gotta get the crap out so I don't toast this one.

USA Flag & Eagle Decals

My '03 does not have that lift glass hand pad, so I put a flag decal there instead. It prevents fingerprints just like the pad and was a whole lot cheaper.

I also found an eagle decal that fits perfectly over the 2nd "E" on my spare cover.

Made the AC work in the BILs '03 Liberty. Seal behind the compressor clutch went bad…he replaced the compressor while we were driving over, we pulled a vacuum for almost an hour, then charged it up. Works great.

1.37 lbs…that's not a lot of refrigerant.

Finally got around to installing my All J's Cargo rack, only had the front two brackets that connect to rear seat brackets. I had to make something up for the rear for support and what I came up with worked great and is pretty clean looking, I'll post some pics in the morning. With more explanation of what I did.

Got started on putting the 'new' transmission in place. First, we had to pull the transmission cooler and clean it out. Couldn't run the cleaner through the lines to clean it as the cleaner wouldn't get up to the top pipes that way.

Cooler out:

Then we flushed each line and poured off the yucky fluid:

I didn't take a picture, but we poured the fluiid through a coffee filter and it was full of aluminum.

Then we put the cooler back in place and reconnected the lines. Next up, figuring out how to get the ****** back under the Jeep, then up onto the ****** jack. I don't have the Jeep flying high enough to slide it under on the jack.

One step up on blocks towards getting it high enough to slide the ****** jack underneath. Didn't take pics at further steps because my hands were a bit busy.

On and secured to the ****** jack:

This is where it started pouring, so we were done for the day. Had to take two longish breaks during all this to take the kid to girl scouts, then pick her back up.

Tomorrow after work, we'll get it lined up and bolted back to the engine. Then I'll peck away at getting everything hooked back up after work for the rest of the week. Just got new input and output speed sensors in Friday's mail; looks like a good thing I did.

Took mine to a Car Show and Collector Car Auto Auction today.
Lots of nice cars going over the auction block.
Then drove around testing out the new lift.
Incredible ride. I thought there was a huge difference when I went from stock to OME back in 05, but it was nothing like the change form my old one till the coilovers :favorites37:

Here are some pics of the rear cargo tray I finally installed :peace:

Didn't have the rear brackets closest to rear door so I got a piece of 1" pipe and cut it to fit in the groves on the sides then drilled two holes in the pipe and secured tray with bolts, tray sits level and is very nice with helping organize, Finally get to use some of my smaller bungie cords to secure stuff on there. Also not sure if I ever posted this but I put on my Aluminum roof rack made my Boiler, relocated my spare up top and put my custom bike mount rack on. In all a nice little Sunday.
