Got to drive it for more then 5 miles. Put about 100 miles on her and even got some mud on her when I was checking out my hunting spot. When I got home I was wondering why the heavy duty fan kept coming on so quick. Yeah turns out I didnt get the electric fan connected properly and it wasnt connected the whole trip most likely. Never overheated.

You could go break something on one of your Jeeps! Easy enough to do on the right trail!

Happy Birthday Tom!

None of the right trails anywhere close by, hills, pasture fields , lots of hay fields, corn fields .............but can't drive through them ! Did one time, but that is a whole different story :favorites68:

Do those bulbs need load resisters?
OEM 921 is a single filament and only comes on when brake applied, no after glow w/ the led.
It also now comes on a tad faster than the filament brake bulbs!:happy160:

Changed all four calipers, flushed brake system as the old fluid was nasty, bled the brakes about 3 times as the pedal was still too spongy, and changed the outer tie rods. While i was in there i discovered the inner tie rods are shot too, so thats on the list.

Ill need to get it aligned now. My brakes are better than they were, but i'm still not satisfied, so ill have the shop bleed them for me too while theyre at it. See if they can get them a bit firmer.

Oh, and swapped the dusty old air filter for a new Wix. It has noticeably more power on acceleration now.

Mysterious random overnight coolant leak again. Happens only when parked overnight. Also completely random. Could be days between the puddles.
Whenever I get a chance to check , everything looks fine.... never ends

Ordered a new blower motor resistor. I replaced this about 2 years ago when only fan speed 4 would work. Now none of the fan speeds work. Hopefully the new resistor gets it going again.

ace... put dye in it.

I’ve never had luck with that but it’s wkrth a shot.

In other news. Everything I’ve done to the 02 I’m dojng to the 03 now.
New lights. Suspension. Brakes. Brake lines. Valve cover gaskets. Rear end upper and lower. y link and the mbrp clone cat back.
Damn owning 2 jeeps hurts the wallet.

Started the rocker panel project this week hopefully.
!
I’ll have to make a imgur account to host some pics !

Try owning an 03/04 and 05 KJ
Of course costs vary little really in the long run
Much cheaper than a new Jeep payment

Washed it...while it was raining.

We did some "exploring" Black River State Forest on Saturday...it needed the wash:gr_grin:
It would have been a lot dirtier, except I wasn't trusting the crappy street tires that are still on it. Cooper Adventurer A/T... pfft, only if A/T means Any Tarmac:icon_razz:
