Even though I don't have the smoke/clear signals, I threw the Side Yellow LED 168's. No hyper-blinking,and they are a lot brighter.

don't discount the fact that if you (a shop) install a part, the customer will expect it to be replaced for free if it fails shortly after install. that "courtesy" is never extended if you bring in the parts yourself.

I managed tire and auto repair centers for Tire America ( bought out by NTB) and Goodyear. Always used NAPA at all the places which in the end could beat Advanced etc but people still complained that their mothers husbands boyfriend could get parts cheaper and then wanted us to put them on at a reduced rate:happy175: Funniest was one guy who owned a restaurant close by, always complained. So one day I went and picked up a steak, baked potato, salad fixings and carried them in and handled them to him. Said here ya go, prepare this for me, stopped his BS real quick

We used to put fourth, yeah you can go buy Eggs at the market for .55 Cents but you go to Denny's and pay $5 for 3 Eggs cooked your way. One customer went livid that it wasn't the same thing and yes it was because you're paying for Service. This is what you pay while here Service to your car and you're paying for a Warranty with that Service which continues long after the part goes out of Warranty itself. Still couldn't get it through their head we were offering more than what the Parts Store was.

The Alternator castings collect dirt & mine was looking dingy grey.
New can of LPS spray arrived & tested it out, I would say it's a bit of an improvement...

Parked next to a Columbia Edition 02-04 Liberty at the store. I was really envious of how clear their headlights were.

I saw a KJ with an ARB bumper today. It looked good, but a bit bit big for my needs...

May look a bit big, but when you can kill 4 Deer over the years at 55-65 MPH, total a Camry when it stops dead in front of you and a cop, and shove a GMC pickup down the road that was sitting still when you were doing 45, and no damage, except scratches
Its just right , no other bumper will do that
Pays for themselves many times over

Received the new Power Steering Pump and Crankshaft Position Sensor to hopefully fix what’s bad and get her sold in the next few weeks.
Decided against parting it as I just want it to be gone.

Today I removed and cleaned the idle air valve. Then sprayed out the throttle body and thoroughly scrubbed it out. Also removed all the spark plugs, cleaned the boots/coils, lubed the O rings, installed new plugs, and cleaned all the plugs and sockets with electro spray cleaner.

Re-assembled everything and it runs like a top.

Plugs were in terrible shape. Gaps were about 3 X spec. !!!! Electrodes were burned almost completely down to the insulator.

Can't figure how they ran at all.

Now on to the next stuff....

I can relate to this. I've had a few vehicles (including my 02 KJ) that I decided against parting and just getting them gone...

I just don’t have the time or space to be doing that. Especially with family troubles we’re having currently.. so hopefully I can get it to operate normally and get what I paid for all the upgrades plus a little since it still runs

hoping it's not TOO cold tomorrow, as I need to run the sprinkler under the jeep, to wash off the salt from today's fun.

We're supposed to hit 15 tomorrow, but it will hopefully be at night. Do you not have a cheap-o car wash nearby that does a bottom wash? There's one by me in Oceanport that does it for $2 over the $5 basic wash.

We're still cold up here. In a couple weeks, it should be warm enough to be sloppy and salty. I can't wait for that part tobe over with.

ARB or ECB (East Coast Bullbars) are two of the best you can get for your vehicle. ECB had a nice bar for the first gen Subaru Outback which almost fully enticed me to buy one just to put it on.
