What did you do to your jeep today?

my firestone likes to complain the lift makes it impossible to get the alignment correct. I'm thinking when I get new tires I'll have the tire shop do an alignment and see how they fair.

Get away from Firestone etc, find a good old alignment shop where they actually know how to align one.
The one I always used had one guy who had done alignments for over 35 years. No hassles and even at over 4 inches of lift was pretty much spot on
Even at 3 inches and stock UCA's

Two different lifts and no problems with the wifes 02 getting aligned properly. My 07 is costing me alot of money trying to get it right.

If it makes you feel any better, my 2007 went right into spec after it was lifted. Sorry about your current problems. Just trying to let you know that it can be done. Good luck finding the right place.

(And for the record, I have a five-year contract with Merchants Tire, which seems to be NTB up here in Ohio. Had it aligned at one location in VA and two different locations here in OH; never any grief.)

I had those on there from the get-go. (Lift specs are in my sig.) I think they will be worth it to you even if the alignment problem turns out to have some other cause.

I took the WK2 to get aligned at the Firestone near me. Took 2 hours but the alignment was a mess and I'm guessing it never had an alignment since leaving the factory. The tech was fussy as well making sure the steering wheel was straight before it was put back in my hands. The Shop Manager apologized at how long it took and I said ''I would rather spend the extra time getting it done now and right then come back. A good fussy tech is hard to find anymore that makes sure their work is good."

Got another alignment and added one extra iso. to each side in the rear.

Lucked out on a cleaning bill. Bought a "oil can" for ATF to keep in the trunk to lube anything that squeaked, so I would do it on the spot rather than "remember". We had a warm day recently, and when I got back in, I smelled something. Turns out the heat raised the pressure in the can and it started leaking out. Luckily there was a pile of napkins and the original paper floor mats from the dealer on the trunk floor, so it caught all of the spill.

Thinking about ditching the stock nerf bars, because they are so rusted.
