New headlights came in, but it seems someone took my box of nitrile gloves from work. I hate changing bulbs w/o gloves.

Had to set a calendar reminder to go out and start her up every day. Battery has died a couple times because I never go anywhere. The battery is now five years old, so I may have killed it. I will say that if I start it every day it fires right up.

Go get a battery tender already. Unless you're wasting a ton of gas to get everything fully up to operating temperature while idling, you're doing even more harm to things like the exhaust from all the moisture you're leaving in it.

I've had the Battery Tender variety before but had two fail after about 4 years (I guess they do that). They worked great until they quit so not knocking their function. I've had a batteryMINDer for almost 5 years now and really like it. Also has the pulse mode for desulfation. Don't know if that does anything but makes me feel good, so there's that...

Finally got the new rear control arm set up installed. The upper is a JBA 4 link and the lowers are adjustable wj lower control arms. No more rubber bushings to blow out and I can finally set the pinion angle to be correct.

Have you tried the little solar dealies from Harbor Freight? I think the only bad thing is you have to unplug it before you start up. Worked great on my Dodge Diesel w/2 batts. https://www.harborfreight.com/15-watt-solar-battery-charger-62449.html

90-95 miles a day yet monday through Friday
But then I remember how nice it was for over 10 years working from home and having the State of Ohio supply me with a car if i did have to go anywhere for business.

It should help out , no CD just radio w/Bluetooth. The whole set up was less than $100.

I just realized I haven’t fueled up my Jeep since March 11 and I still have a half a tank of fuel in it.

Today I remembered that not driving it might mean my battery is running low, since there are a few mods on the Jeep that draw a small amount of current all the time. I checked it with my multimeter, and I got 11.9 volts! Not good.

So this afternoon I hooked up a small 1 amp charger/battery maintainer to slowly bring it back up. No, my Jeep is not a plug-in hybrid.

The 12.85 volt reading is after about 30 minutes of charging, so it's slowly moving in the right direction. The voltage should rise to 14.5V when charging and come down to about 13.5V float charge when the battery is full. After that I may disconnect the Jeep's battery since I'm not driving anywhere these days.

Ok, so the guy at AutoZone who installed my battery stripped the battery hold down bolt.

It’s tight down and spins in place. Ideas? I am quite frustrated with it. I’ve tried vice grips and not enough room to spin it with upward force.
