Took the rear right door panel off and raised the window up then secured the bracket it sits in so my window is closed until I get a metal bracket (bracket? lol) to fix it for real with... That was the '06.

A few days ago for my '05 I had new rotors in front and new pads all around installed, and the LCAs replaced due to recall. I also let my son start driving it.

Painted the Hi-Lift and gas can carrier and installed it
Then I ended up painting the whole bumper again to brighten it up some

Rev. Mudd I'm hearing what you're preaching! Do it right and the results are awesome - that's a beautifully engineered system. :smokin:

I changed my CV joint and it took way to long because I have no Jack or lift or mechanical knowledge.

But you did it! So now you have more mechanical knowledge than before you did the project - plus the satisfaction of doing it yourself. Congratulations - and welcome to the world of Jeeps! :party52:

Finally got round to replacing Evap vacuum pipe. And while I was under there I decided to change oil and filter. And while I was waiting for oil to drain, I decided to remove sump guard and give it a coat of paint. While waiting for that to dry, painted front suspension to change it from UK winter brown to black again. And then while the paint was out, the towbar got a couple of coats as well. And then washed and polished it and then realised the weekend had disappeared somewhere!! All been worth it though, my Jeep is grateful even if my wife isn't. :disgust: Not to worry! :smokin:

Looks great! That is a unique towbar - does the job getting around the spare tire, eh?
