Decided against parting it out- finally got it completely fixed and cleaned up
Posted and have quite a few interested already :D hopefully it'll sell in the next week or so

As you can see, the left fender is a little bent down and in, but it's not too bad. At least the bumper cover is good and there are 2 foglights on the bumper again. He crunched it in November and I bought the bumper cover and foglight (with his card!) that same week.
Sorry to hear your Husband had an oppsie...
Look at the bright side, you could now surprise him with a new bumper sticker!

lower ball joints came today, along with a buttload of parts for the wife's car.
waiting on the uppers to tear into the jeep... again... still.
at least I can confirm now that my weld job on the front driveshaft appears to be holding, doesn't make any noise, and doesn't vibrate. so the brand new one is going in storage for now.

Well I ordered export rear wiring harness for rear fogs, and headlight switch... Got the idiot email today asking for my VIN.... So I'm awaiting now for the response that these won't fit my WK2....

Removed rear bumper, getting it sanded down and getting ready to bedline it , next is the Matrix Brush Guard, both took a beating this winter and starting to rust

My back window dropped again today. I tore the door apart for a third time, and hopefully the last. I did not have the ball clipped properly.

Debating putting on my JBA Y-link extension or not... driveline angles look OK, but obviously not ideal after the lift- sitting roughly +3.0" now.

What makes me question installing it is no vibrations or noise, even at 75mph. So... not needed? Or install it to take some stress off of the balljoint on the rear UCA?

Well, mine was all fine until I started getting vibes on the freeway and the driveshaft sheered off..

If no vibes could be close, look at your angles again , see how the transfer case/ pinion set and go from there
Have to remember before JBA etc came up with the bolt ons/ extensions 1000s of KJs ran around for years with stock tri-links and did great.

True... I just worry about the upper balljoint, as I know it is worn and could stand replacement. Don't want to put too much stress on it, even if a new/good balljoint could hold up.

I'll check it out again this weekend and see. I have the extension bracket.. might as well put it on anyhow right?

If I’m running stock 16” wheels and someone offered me 16x8 with “0” offset - will that mean my rim will sit farther out or in compared to stock?

yes way out more
16x8s with 5 inches of backspacing is best , sits the tire/wheel out to edge of flare
any more, have to run more bumpstop, more chances of rubbing when turning etc
