So its the passenger front with the issue. The tone ring is contacting the face of the sensor intermittently as best as I can tell. Looking at the price of hub assemblies, I can put a Moog in for cheap.
if you're getting actual contact with the sensor, then yea you need to replace the hub. something's way out of spec then.

When I put Timken hubs in the abs sensor and hub was not side specific, so wire for abs came out towards the front on one and towards the back on the other. Perhaps you'd have more clearance if it was flippity flopped, just an idea, maybe not a good one.

In this case the contact is internal

Yeah I use the universal timken ones when I had to do my two front hubs. Any hub you buy should come with the sensor already installed.

I used moog on my last set. No problems.

Either your tone ring is split or theres a rock / rust kind of debris in 1 or 2 of the grooves.

You can rotate the hub and watch the ring thru the mounting hole for the sensor.

The cooling system I replaced in November started leaking. Before I let the frustration seep in too far...traced it to a loose upper hose. Lesson learned: check hose clamps.

Diesel Liberty on Dirt Lifestyle today. Nicely done in every way, except I think he should have used OME heavy duty CRD springs up front. The Skyjackers are destined to sag with the steel bumper, winch, and diesel engine up front. I am overall a fan of the channel and think Nate does some amazing work.

I took it out of the garage for the first time this year. Started right up after sitting a few months. It is ready for another year of sport (fun) and utility (work) things to do.

I wondered about getting phone dial wheels.

Also, you ever think about selling that beast, you make me your first contact. :D

Got my oil and oil filter changed this past weekend and had the tires rotated and balanced. I need to change the differential fluid in the upcoming months. The weather is heating up here in Phoenix, so I'll probably change the front control arms and the differential fluid in the summer.

particular gasket I want to replace, is on clearance for $2.41 (reg $19) for the felpro, but $12 for the VR. however, it's the rear crank seal, so i'm not wanting to be stupid here.

Nothing exciting but interesting, took her a CRD 2.8 for a good hours hard fast drive on the Mway, to see how the Head Gasket repair using Steal Seal would hold up. Well no problem at all, this repair liquid has saved me hundreds, I am so surprised it is holding up, I have never had faith in products like this, but 2 mechanics recommended this one and a Holt's one, saying they have tested them still running ok after 3 and 5 years,

I took out all my work stuff,
put the seats down
and loaded it with guns and ammo
and went to our club 200m indoor range for a competition
with one of my twins, the other joined us and every one had a
great group meal together.
It is great to all get together again with out restrictions.
and my sons first competition using silenced T3 TAC rifle.
