How did you get your seats so clean? Mine have so many water stains on them, and I haven't been able to get them out!
Cheers, well to be honest I haven't done much to the seat fabrics since owning this vehicle, I think I have the previous owner to thank for their current state.

I have used some spray fabric cleaner from the local auto store. Otherwise I have read mixing baking soda and water can help.

Haven’t got poo done due to heavy rain for days. Remainder of parts for parking brake rebuild arrived though. Discovered rivets on both backing plates are blown…more proof that while Bert can do Jeep stuff, I’ve got to work Harder on prepatory and preventative maintenance if I’m gonna beat on her like that.

Put another set of injectors and spark plugs in...been getting a random mis fire or mis fire on #4.

And drove 250 the last 2 days running mail...gas mileage worser...performance...much better!
No codes.

Seems to have a dead spot in acceleration also
But only when trying to accelerate easily, I mean, NOT putting it to the floor. Kinda lags along for a few seconds...then wakes up!


Probably need the correct plugs also. Did some iridium plugs made by Denso. Jus wanting to see what they might do. Very aggressive acceleration is awesome.

Done typing and gonna do a search for the correct plugs in this forum.

NGK ZFR6F-11G Copper plugs. It’s listed on the decal at the front of the radiator, although mine is worn through at that spot.

Just purchased remanufactured Mopar TPMS sensors for all 5 wheels. It pained me to do it, considering I know how to make sure my tires have enough air in them. But my god daughter is learning to drive with this Jeep and I don’t want these to be a distraction for her. I got 4 “dings” and a flashing tire light on my way to work this week. All the old ones are completely dead.

^^^ Has anyone used their stock jack to break the bead on a tire and replace the TMPS sensor? YouTube makes that look way easier than it probably is in real life. I know I could take them to a tire shop, but the Jeep budget is empty now until next month, LOL.

You'll want a scan tool that can watch live data, but I'd be willing to bet you have an O2 sensor that's not responding correctly, and mucking up the fuel trims. A quick way to possibly test that theory, is does it have the dead spot when cold/first driven? AKA is it still in open loop mode for fuel trims? If it goes way when cold, i'm betting at least one of your downstream sensors is compromised. Your statement about it working fine when floored leads me on this thought path, as at WOT the system goes open loop as well. You could also just crawl under and visually inspect both downstream sensors. Compromised wiring that isn't totally broken can cause the sensor(s) to act wrong, but not throw a code. Go ahead, ask me how I know. :D This is important: Chrysler ECUs listen to their downstream sensors. Anyone who tells you otherwise, is wrong.

I tried to use my floor jack and a ratchet strap to unseat the bead on an old tire in my basement. Not good results. Marred the sidewall. It’s ok, it’s a junk tire, but I learned I don’t want to try this on my good Jeep tires. Looks like I will be visiting a tire shop to have them install the TPMS sensors.

Wish there was *A WAY* to bypass that restrictive garbage.

Don't know what a "good" scan tool is...open to suggestions tho. Would love to have one!!

And yes...I have visibility checked the ENTIRE under belly of this beast. Wires look well and wrapped with heat sleeves. One sleeve was kinda up a lil high and I jus slid it down.

And I have no idea how long those sensors have been in...they could be OGs

Today's update...I drove it like I stole it!

No codes..ran really well...I was hammer down pretty much everywhere I went.
I say no codes cause I was getting #4 misfire everyday. So different injectors AND plugs and no codes. Good News!

Only other thing I did different was filled op with 93 octane...usually use 87 cause I burn half a tank a day and 93 is WAY too pricey to jus BURN up.

Powertrax rear locker , tuff stuff rear diff cover, creative steel front bushings and belly skid all installed ,ready to hit the trails here soon cant wait to see how everything feels offroad

No slip.. daily driving hasnt seen any changes for me, especially since I dont take turns fast anyways..offroad should be a huge difference

Had any experience driving in weather with it?
I live in Az so i dont get much weather in the valley,that being said with it being in the rear diff and my previous experience growning up in Illinois I figure when the mansoon season hits and or I go up north to play in the snow I'll be fine

Moved the rear license plate, then noticed that I Had to replace the rear diff seal. Put the diff cover on since I was there

looks like tomorrow we finally get a break in the weather (rain and no sun for 9 days straight). Fingers crossed can get maintenance done on Saturday.

New mono block and fan arrives for my sub today. Discovered the cutout was a combination of an outdated amp (read as no real passive or active cooling) and heat from missing undercarriage heat shield. Am currently clocking temps of a shocking 170F under the drivers seat while on the freeway with volume only at 60%.

Will be back to POing Karen in no time!

I keep himming and hawing over throwing my sub in, but then I fill the cargo area up with my work tools for the week. I miss it.
