My left front window's still held in place with one of those twin sucker devices for carrying glass & the like & gaffer tape, as it has been for a couple of months now. Sourcing a regulator and glass wasn't difficult or expensive - & I they arrived in a week (but, of course, not this close to Christmas). The problem is having fitted the regulator & glass, I haven't yet managed to marry them up. Maybe over the next two weeks, when I'm off work?

I'm back on shift today, my temporary repair is keeping the window shut so a job for the new year, along with the starter motor that now seems to be spinning at 50% of its original speed. Glad I sorted the starting issue with the injector or wouldn't have a hope of it starting.

I am mostly waiting for a break in the weather and finding the enthusiasm to replace my rear brake calipers. We've been taking a fair old pounding from the wind in the UK over the past few weeks and it seems to be non stop tree clearance and putting roofs back on. I continue to be impressed how good the KJ 4WD is.

Also, the speedo says 75, but real speed is 70. If anyone knows what could cause that error in speed (through the whole range, even) that would be pretty cool.
