What did you sell or trade to get your KJ?

Traded a 98 Pontiac Grand Prix GTP, supercharged, with a smaller pulley, ram air, and custom exhaust. Won many races with that car...

Got an 04 Libby 4x2, getting married soon and the future wifey and I wanna camp, so we need something to tow a small camper. Did my homework for months and the for me, the Libby came out on top. Miss my previous car everyday, but I love the Libby, in a different way.

Didn't sell or trade, but wrecked my 01 Honda Civic. (Fell asleep driving back home from college for my Reserve training... p: )

Found my KJ and fell in love at first sight and haven't stopped loving every moment in it since. (Everything but the gas mileage, compared to my civic, hah)
Just took her off road for the first time the other day since owning her and loved every second of it. Ill never NOT own a Jeep again.

White 2007 ford mustang with 25k miles on it... Had 3 165$ speeding tickets in 2 months and called it quits with the sports car. I drove my buddies jeep liberty in the snow and fell in love and a week later I had a black one sitting in my drive way and I could not be happier. Sure I still speed but I don't have the mentality that I need to be a speed demon or pull away as fast as I can when I am at a green light.

My dad had one of those he owned it for maybe 6 months and was dumping so much into and ended up selling it right after that just to get rid of the headache.

Oh and i traded in my 98 chevy blazer for my 03 freedom.

Hello Everyone!!!

This is officially my first post on the site, and what a great site it is.
My Wife traded a '01 Chevy Malibu in to get "Our" '03 Sport which over the last couple years Her job change hasn't necessitated daily use of the Jeep. So long story shorter I am slowly upgrading it with the help of this awesome forum.

well i traded in a bmw e46 323ci vert for my kj. its not all a loss lol the verts head gasket was shot so it had to go. but i also got rid of my chevy astro heres a couple of pics. oh if you havent seen my intro thread im un the uk so the astro was a *** import lol the astro under went a full nut and bolt rebuild i just got board with it so it had to go unfortuantly but she was a good bus the time i had it which was around 18mths.

I am on my second Jeep. I love these cars. They are American, they are fun to drive, and they have a lot of room for all my gear.

Traded in a 1999 Audi A4 Quattro for my Libby. Loved that car but it's not something the average Joe could work on in his garage. Besides, German cars aren't meant to be owned beyond 50K miles.

I've yet to find something on my Libby that can't be accessed and replaced quite easily.

Would do it again in a heartbeat.

My 2000 5.9L Durango was rearended and totaled out so the insurance money bought mine. Lucked out in finding a 2005 Renegade w/towing package with 47,000 on it and only paid $9500 cash for it. Amazing what rich people let things go for.
