Never heard of this one before.
What is the code that you're getting? Just out of curiosity. The reason why I'm asking is that I'm looking at the list of Chrysler OBD codes and I'm not seeing anything for "range position switch".
Too bad it was in the wrong thread!!!!!!!
...I was wondering why these two posts weren't in the Random Thoughts Thread. I really need to stop posting while half asleep at work...
Same rules apply from KJ to WK. Just get Bilsteins/OME/etc.
Check out the WK section on jeepforum.com
I've been out of the WK loop so long that I can't remember anything.
You still fighting this uphill battle with outdated crap that doesn't make any current sense?
Go right ahead.
Lil bit of history on me.
How many Libertys have I had?
Oh yeah, 3.5 ( 3½ ). (One doesn't belong to me but heck I'm the one who has to maintain it...)
Destroyed transfer cases?
0.
The Liberty is *meant* to be shifted into 4WD while moving.
Even in 4LO.
This isn't an '79 Bronco...
Shifting into 4WD is easier while moving at speed for a reason. Doing it while stopped is a serious pain in the rear.
knotwerk, pics? I love Renegades. :D
I want one now.
No this doesn't mean that I'm going to get one tomorrow...
But in 2016, it's going to be a serious fight between a Cherokee and a Wrangler CRD.
Stupid auto show... lol.
...$5 says the Wrangler CRD will win.
You're going to be stuck in "I" status for a while. PM me your VIN and I'll see what's up with it if it's not out of "I" status by Friday morning.
I'd do it NOW, but Chrysler is only Windows and Internet Explorer friendly. :(
