Extra set of Teeth by Pinion

Used to be, there would be a VSS in the transmission/tcase, and then if it had ABS, a sensor in the rear end for it. Now modules network together, so they share sensors. The VSS sensor info is shared with the ABS.

Extra set of Teeth by Pinion

What do you mean? There are digital and analog sensors. Analog generates a sine wave ac signal, and the newest vehicles feature digital sensors with generate a square wave.

Its the toner ring for the VSS or vehicle speed sensor.

    Jeep Cherokee Funny video Comparision

I can see Fix It Again Tony revising the Cherokee in a year or so with a more conservative front end to appeal to a larger audience. Just look at the Pontiac Aztec. Too much and they felt it. If they did that, at least I would consider it for my wife as a DD.

    On my third Radiator

There is a reason the Oreillys guy works there, and not in a shop. Thankfully, they only put the idiots who don't try to give us repair shops advice on the commercial counter. Water pumps do not build pressure. They recirculate coolant, that's it. When coolant, or anything else for that...

    Headlight Upgrade

I don't think people realize, headlights on road are not meant to light everything up like it is daylight outside. I don't know what you kids would do back in the sealed beam days.

    Headlight Upgrade

Silverstars, etc are about the only thing you can do. The stock headlights, providing they are aimed correctly, haven't had any of that gawdawful tint spray put on them, or hazed over, work very well. If one has problems seeing at night with them, they would need their eyes checked for night...

Any of you Liberty pros care to look at the set up I am considering?

Sensatracs would not be my first choice. The shocks themselves depend on ride height being at OE spec to work as designed. Reflex shocks work differently and aren't dependent on ride height.

    Manual Won't Go Into Gear

Is it at a transmission shop, or a general repair shop? Some general repair shops are reluctant to sublet trans work out, and will push for a reman unit instead. You might call some of the tranny shops in the area and see what they would charge for a new input shaft. Tell them yours got...

'05 Liberty "Check Engine" light on...Help please!

I should add, what will the dealer do if the technician guessed wrong? Guessed is the key word here. Typically, if it still does it when they are done, they will ask you to cough up more money.

'05 Liberty "Check Engine" light on...Help please!

Ok, I don't know about anyone else, but I am questioning their findings. Scoping the voltage on the #3 injector will verify a good electrical winding in the injector, and the integrity of the driver that turns on and off the injector. With a very good eye, really good screen resolution and a...

    Manual Won't Go Into Gear

Sounds like a clutch engagement issue, ie clutch master or clutch slave. Could still also be a throwout bearing or pilot bearing issue as well

    suspension to hard

Always best to upgrade when replacing. As rusty as that thing is, you'll thank me later. Find someone to sneak the things across the border lol

    Chasing a misfire...

Don't assume because you haven't replaced #6 coil, your issue is there. You have a P0300, which means more than one cylinder has been misfiring. 20k miles on plugs, the plug life is 2/3 gone. You also have a p0038, B1S2 oxygen sensor code, most likely a faulty heater in the sensor. You might...

Steering pulls to the right after 2 alignments HELP

As a former Des Moines resident, just curious what shops you're referring to? Send me a PM if you don't want to say publically. The Hunter machines I know of that did as you described, were some old things.

    #2 no compression

Rockers should not be falling out, ever. If it does, there is a problem.

    suspension to hard

I wouldn't waste the time or money on bushings for the upper arms at least. Look into these since you're lifted already: Jeep Liberty KJ A-arms, upper control arms

    #2 no compression

Sounds like a broken valve spring or a valve seat that came loose. Either way, costly damage if you don't get it fixed.
