If going off road, first mods should be recovery points, then skid plates, and lift after.

We took the Liberty camping on Friday night. I'm wondering how I drove my XJs on those roads for so many years without sustaining a head injury... The KJ handles them well.

We plan to eventually, but we mostly stick to service roads, for now. We got this to replace our 2018 Tacoma when it got totaled. Come tax return next year, we can do some more major alterations. Our primary goal right now is getting out and camping a few more times this year.
I've been getting a lot of results for "performance chip upgrades". Are these something I should look at or avoid?

Any suggestions? I've been seeing a LOT of them and they're starting to run together. Some Oracle lights keep showing up. Supposedly super bright LED ring around the stock headlights.

If anyone reading this can remember off hand the part number to the lower bolt where the clevis fork meets control - I need to Order a new one- again(lost my Confirmation email with the previous order details)

Replaced the gas lifters for the hood and rear window. They cost $25/pair on Amazon, "Box" brand, I would recommend them. Quick swap with a small flat-head screwdriver.

I try not to, but it’d be more along the lines of hunting gear for methink of all the perfectly good jeep mod you could have afforded for what that ring cost!

I need new lug nuts. Been planning to buy them for some time. Why haven't I? because the ones I want are $20 for four and I would need six packs. Just can't bring myself to spend that much and can't bring myself to buy something else I don't like as much. My old ones (stock) are pretty chewed up so I guess I better start carrying a pipe wrench with me since the socket doesn't fit well over some of them.
Every pay day buy a set & in the long run, it wont be so painful.
I think you can also buy them in 5 packs, even 4 with a lock set combo may help.

I could just buy them all now. It's the overall cost that is the hangup. $120 for lug nuts? My first car cost $300 and it ran for two years without needing any repairs!
