got the ome's on and the new shocks, but it's still sitting in the bay, test driving it i blew up a cv and now the whole front end is back apart and the axles are in the mail, not a fun week at my household :icon_frown:

On another note what type of bolt is holding the hub on to the knuckle? It looks sorta like a torx bit

EDIT: does the thermostatic fan control switch sound about right for causing this problem?

The problem could be the fan itself - run a couple of leads directly to it from the battery and see if the fan runs (it'll run on Hi using this method.) If it does then it could be the relay - but I'll let the electrical experts jump in here.
BTW, the E-Torx bit is a 14mm. Luke is correct so 5 bonus points for him :waytogo:
