How in the world did you tear up the CVs test driving it?
Where did you get the new ones from?

well it wasn't really a test drive but more a maiden offroad voyage with the new parts, i was going up a hill and put her in 4 hi and on the way up it got destroyed, its been going bad for a while so i knew it was going to happen i just didn't think so soon, i ordered them from jeepinbyal

(it was its first offroad test drive)

Huh? What's up?

Bob

Had my airbag light randomly coming on and off. (I was on the highway and ducked the first time it did hearing stories of the recall)
Turns out I had a short in my passenger airbag? Very strange. So while I was in there oil change and tire rotation. Had to borrow a bike to go get it though haha

replaced the parking brake shoes...the factory rivets that held the backing plates on were completely disentegrated so i had to pull the axles and drill through the caliper bracket to mount them with stainless hardware..tons of fun...factory shoes were falling apart as well but now the e-brake works great.

Mine needs the parking brake shoes replaced too - and issues like you describe make me want to procrastinate doing the job even more :boxed:

Not to be "that guy", but are you all sure that brakes are something you ought to be procrastinating over? :Good or Bad:

Parking brakes. Front and rear pads and rotors are new and stop impressively.

True, but mine still work. I just have to do them soon. The shoes aren't cracked and aren't down to the rivets.

Got an email saying they found my lost cv shaft and will be shipping so I can finally get her back on the road. Just hope it doesn't talk too long to ship :)

So wait they lost it so you didn't get the shaft and now that they found it your going to get the shaft. So I guess I'm glad to hear your going to get shafted. Why does that not sound right. LOL
