Finally got pictures of my new Jeep being test driven before being loaded on a ship to come here. Dual wheels all around, I think it should do well in the snow

had the calipers hanging and one torque of the wrench and one fell off at the place where the screw is in the hole. so I replaced them also. it all cost me ABOUT $180
Put tags on it,ouch I sure miss South Dakota, and new plates(Marine Corps plates) but I had to get new plates(another damn $50) since it seems my old plates "did not exist" and have not for the last 4 years.Guess that explains why I couldn't get new tags online for the last 4 years but was never told my plates "did not exist" the last 3 times I came in and bought new tags. Then fought with the DMV again over the Town Car to get the title transferred to my name,no I'm not paying sales tax on a vehicle that already has been sales taxed,I'm not buying the damn car but got stuck paying it off so yes I'm going to drive it.I won but ouch again for paying to register it,at least it was the same cost as my KJ.
They always try to get you one way or the other don't they.:insane:
That's why South Dakota puts right on the title if and how much sales tax has been paid at the time of purchase. They argued but I kept pointing out that I did not buy it,no lien on the title, and the title stated that sales tax has already been paid.Glad there is no "gift tax" here in CO.When I got my Jeep back to Ohio last May and had to pay the sales tax they also made me pay tax on the extended warranty I purchased. I pointed out that the tax was supposed to be on the vehicle only and that I could have declined the warranty at the time of the sale, then added it at any time in the next 30 days. They said "If it's on the bill of sale, you're paying." And I did. :mad3:
Installed the CB and mounted the Firestick antenna. Doesnt look too bad mounted to the ARB front winch bumper.
