But one should try a stroll

One block in off the lake

When passing between buildings

A big fall you'll take

Tremendous between the building wind tunnel effect off the lake nearly knocked me over once.

Today, fabricating mounts...

for my gas cans...

if all goes well...

I could end up with "fans"...

Here is what I finished up on Saturday...

In the last pic...there will be one on the passenger side, also.

Fabbing that one on Sunday. Both done for under $40.

2 funerals in 5 days and over 800 miles
At least never got hung up in the cemetery like some of the little gas saving cars did. :emotions122::idiot:

Now I know what having a loose a arm bolt sounds like: like the wheel is about to fall off!

Tightened up the bolt that the tech forgot to and all is well now

Got an alignment on Sunday since I hit a curb Saturday night due to the icy roads (on a first date no less!)

Bought spark plugs, oil and a filter. Advanced had a deal on castrol you get a free Purolator filter. Sweet! Also ordered high and low side power steering hoses from Rockauto.

ordered a new radiator today, under warranty, maybe this one will last more than 13 months. Stupid plastic end tank crack. Glass reinforced nylon, ooooooo that sounds better than plastic.

Not today, yesterday. Drove it to the doc's office and got meds…but had to give the receptionist a jump first.

Her pos Spirit started right up as soon as we connected the cables.

I gave a receptionist a jump once and she slapped me. :icon_eek:

In the spirit of the thread, I used my new OBD-II scanner to clear my engine code for "low voltage". I'm blaming the bitterly cold weather (until today) and the fact that I'm not driving much these days. Will keep an eye on it...

I gave a receptionist a slap once and she jumped me.:hmm:

I washed the Jeep, finally
And put in a new headlight bulb, which didn't light up. So now I have to start checking the socket, wiring, etc.:icon_sad:

Somewhere between being sane and insane!
Finally found the reason for why my battery seems to be loosing it's charge.Granted I've not driven daily in the last 2 months but have fully charged the battery 3 times in the last 8 weeks and a few days latter it's back down to 12.3 volts(still over 1200 cca's though,go figure).

The alternator is slowly dying, still putting out good voltage(14.6 volts) just not good amps at higher rpm's and my 3.7 lives around 3000+ rpm's so not good. Can't complain with 12 years of service from the OE alternator, getting a Denso approved(OE Denso case and new internals) remaned.Pricey little bugger but true OE quality.
