9" of snow today and I was stuck inside with a bad cold. At 6pm I could take it no longer and went out for a drive. Pretty much had to share the road with only the snowplows. Found a huge unplowed parking lot and pretended I was offroad, even if it was only in my mind. Parked for a little while and what with the Jeep being nice and toasty took the time to clean it off really good. I think snow is these things natural habitat, though someday I hope to try some rocks and mud and maybe change my mind.

It was the most fun I have had all week, but I think I'll go and collapse now. :icon_cry:

Tune up...

Liberty with 174k miles. Rough idle, miss when driving. Changed plugs and air filter. Believe plugs were original factory NGK plugs as they had 0.100" to 0.106" gap versus original 0.040". Can't believe Libby would even run under those conditions. Owner #2 totally ignored maintenance but this resulted in my getting terrific price on 4x4. Body is in excellent condition & everything else is fixable

No one has mentioned exploding gas tanks
or having a hitch replaced in a long time

:shrug::shrug:

Wait, what? You mean like the Pinto?

I need to get in to the stealership and get that free hitch soon!

Added MOPAR Trailer Towing wiring harness, changed out the Leak Detection Pump to clear code P0441, and changed out the badly rusted and corroded negative battery terminal with rounded off nut to a marine-style clamp...much easier to remove for repair work and looks much nicer, too....

I had mine cleaned off last night, before it got too cold. It was 0F this morning. A little over 10" of snow and then the cold, I thought I left all that crap behind when I moved south. :favorites68:

Changed spark plugs, not sure if needed, could've gone another mile or two.

Dug it out. It's been buried since Thursday. At least I didn't get it all salty. From about 5 deg this morning to about 40 now. Things are melting fast. (Cheers)

Washed the Jeep By Hand on this sunny day. It sure needed it!
Me bad, have not washed Jeep in a few months.
The roof you could write your name it. Used the Wash Mit to really scrub the roof.

Looks good now!
There was mossy green slime in all the window rubber seals...eeek !
Broke out the tooth brush to clean all the crud out, much better now.
Really had to scrub with sponge & soap full on, to get stains out.
I am trying a new car wash soap. ArmorAll wash wax & protect.
I like it, leaves a nice shine and overall not much in the way of water spots.
I need a beer now, that was some workout! :party52:
