She's not getting the Libby. Ever.

She'll get the Toyota and that's about it. She wants something else, she'll have to buy it. She's going to learn on a stick so she can drive anything, not just an auto. I learned on a stick, my brothers learned on a stick...oh, and it has manual steering, no power.

She's amazingly good with spatial orientation (always has been) and will be fine at parallel parking, unlike some of my friends for whom I have to get into the seat and parallel park if they drove.
Awesome! Love hearing that. My dad said the same thing. Learn to drive stick or no license. I took my test driving stick and my lady is stick now. Only auto I have ever driven has been work vehicles. If you can't drive with both feet and both hands you should not be allowed on the road. Stick should be part of the drivers test!

Come on people cant even talk on there phone and drive a automatic they would have to put there phone down to shift its unfathomable for most people on the road they rather sit at green lights texting than go anywhere come on driving isnt to get around just another place to be on the phone wasting your life away this is all sarcasm if it wasnt obvious i agree i would learn it no problem and it would skim out all the ********* on the road

She passed - she has her learner's permit. Oy....

Side note: when did MD switch to outsourcing the actual license/learner's permit? You don't get one on-site any more. You get a piece of paper with a barcode and the license shows up in the mail.

Must be recent cause pretty sure my 20 and 19 year old both did it the old way. That's funny about the stick shift. I learned on one too. No one else in my family knows how except my younger daughter. She taught herself on a friends beater.

Put in new bulbs, so running Morimoto XB 3157's in brake lights, what was in the brake lights are now in the rear fogs, LED's still in reverse. Also found that my spacers are warped how joy joy so time to look into some new spacers. Maybe even take the depth and go to 10mm spacers.

sad day.
AC not cool at all.
Looks like my e-rad fan stopped working. It's getting 12V but the motor ain't moving. Got to get it out later when cool to see whether there's connection issues at the motor itself.
Ordered a replacement w/ lifetime warranty this time from Autozone.

Got the last replacement just shy over a year ago. Don't they'll still honor the warranty.
Bought it last year when I was still noob with fixing the jeep so didn't think too much of the warranty.

Got a groupon at my reg. mech. shop for the AC service.

Both w/ 20% off so saved some money.

Sigh..... Still under the weather the past 2 weeks. Got to go see the doc too to fix me.

Dragged the trailer and kayak out today....enjoyed several hours of peace and quiet while drowning a few worms on a very cool little reservoir called Lost Creek.

Nope...no fish pics. I caught a couple little chubs that I tossed back, but nothing picture worthy. I watched two nice rainbow trout...probably 18" or so....swim right by me, about a foot beneath the surface...I swear they looked right at me....mocking me...

Oh well...a bad day fishing is still better than a good day at work!

...unless, of course, you fish for a living... [emoji57]
