Went for a nice burn down the freeway and filled up with lower priced fuel.
66 liters @ $123.0 per liter= $81.18
A block down the street it's $1.50 per liter. Would of cost us $99.00.
Saved $17.82 on the fill up!
Mind you that won't even buy a 12 pack of beer here!

Replaced lower ball joint on passenger side after boot was ripped. Last week I started hearing a squeak/groan when turning wheels left or right. Went underneath and saw right LBJ boot ripped and grease gone. Shot it with some lithium to get thru the week then replaced it yesterday. About $30 from RockAuto.

Also plugged a slow leak from a nail I picked up on Friday. Stuff happens in threes so waiting for one more thing to break before end of the weekend!

Hey, it's all good! Who'd a thunk we'd have to replace a brake line AND a rear shock bolt! :happy175:

Great to meet you all - let's meet in NE Ohio next!

P.S. I like the black KJ the best (you decide which one I'm talking about :party52: )

What? Don't tell me the Rev jinxed himself! He just told me last week that he has never had a snapped bolt!!! :D

Nope, the Rev was out at the local NAPA picking up the brake line when the rear shock bolt broke - he's still worthy! :worthy:

But word to the wise: Wash the underside of your Jeep every time you wash the topside. It ain't pretty when you have to break out the torch to put the lift on... :happy175:

Finally decided on the "In Channel" wind deflectors and very happy with them. They fit well and do what they say on the tin. Nice cut outs near mirrors for visibility and for when the mirrors fold back. The only thing that let them down was the self adhesive strips on them were a bit poo but a few blobs of black silicone along the top made them good and secure. Happy Bunny! :smokin:
