Worked on my coworker's '04 Sebring convertible. Had a pretty bad groaning noise in the front end that turned out to be dry upper ball joints. Got 'em apart, squirted grease in with my needle fitting and took it for a test drive. Dead quiet.

So now I'm hunting for a decent deal on upper arms for the thing. 29,900 miles on it.

I STARTED replacement of the timing belt and water pump. Who knew it would be so hard to get at the bolts on a 4 cylinder? It's apart right now, I'll get the parts swapped in the morning. then put it back together.
While it's in the garage I'm going to change the valve cover gasket too, it leaks a bit.
Got a guy looking at the 3/4 ton diesel, and another who wants to swap for an Avalanche, so I need to make sure the Jeep's good to go before winter.

Nice!

How hard are these to install on Jeeps that didn't have them stock? Fairly certain the behind-the-dash wiring is there for it. I'm guessing it requires a steady hand with a drill?

Ricky Parker. Its me lol. Look me up on facebook

A link would still be helpful. There are a BUNCH of Ricky Parker's on FB. You could also add your FB page to your profile here, where it says Home Page URL. Or add a link to it in your Signature area.

I only ask because I am another one interested in quality bumpers for my 05 Limited.

Not too hard. 9 holes in the roof. I haven't find the wiring yet in a non renegade.

Oh, right! You're the guy who makes that sweet looking front bumper and rear bumper with the tire swing and Jerry can mount?

Yeah, we'll be talking some day. Hopefully soon...ish. :favorites13:

Geez, 29,900 on an 04. Pretty impressive. Can't you just go with the Moog's from RA? They range from about 30-35 bucks apiece for the coupe to 40-50 for the convertible. Looks like the Mopars are only about 50 apiece.

Changed the oil and air filter. First oil change was at about 76k miles, currently sitting at 82.1k, so I put about 6k on the old oil. It was down half a quart, no signs of metal in the pan. The oil was pretty dark, but didn't seem any more viscous than fresh oil (cold engine) and smelled like fresh oil. Refilled it with Mobil 1 and will probably reset the EVIC for 4.5 or 5k intervals. The oil looked really good at 3k (still honey colored), so I think 3k is too short of an interval.

Anyone think that's too long?

I mean, the oil looked great at 3k.

My owners manual I think says 5k intervals. I have been doing 3.5-4 since I abuse it a little more than I should.
