Crossbars installed. Found the set for $27.50 including shipping on Ratukin.com...
Those are the ones I started off with. They work, but if you don't remove them often you should run the clamp knobs in and out on a regular basis. Mine rusted so bad that I had to hacksaw them off. I'd keep a layer of grease on them as well. :)

Ya I use Penzoil Wheel bearing grease on the threads, which works really well to prevent seizing, every 6 months.

Rotated the tires, cleaned the inside of the windshield and rear window, filled up the gas tank and washed and waxed her.

Finished the new rad hose install, and filled it with Zerex G-05. Fired it up and it went fast idle, then settled around 2k. Not sure what to do next. Had battery disconnected, didn't think I touched the skinny pedal, but maybe. Disconnected it again, waited 30 min, started it, and 2k idle:shrug:
I really hope I don't have to pull it apart again:favorites68:

As a result of poor planning and my parts guy not asking if I had a factory external ****** cooler, my Libby has its first modification.. I swapped radiators today. Pretty simple really, until you're looking for the hole that the ****** cooler bolt fits into.. yaaah for zip ties and old leather belts.

As I figured, the spring rubbers are too thick. I'll have to shave off one of the edges so I can get it to slip between the coils of the springs. So not a major loss in working on the Jeep but it should level out the front with the rear in height when done.
