Someone made an offer on my front RL bumper the other day, I turned it down, sorry 150 will never get it
Guy calls today, drove over 2 hours tonight, thought we had a deal when he knew what I wanted
he got here offered 200 , I said no way
He said" I can buy Cherokee bumpers all day for that", told him to go buy some!
His reply :happy175::happy175:" But I don't have a Cherokee anymore"
Told me he'd give me 400 for the front and rear if that helped make the deal
Politely told him what I'd give him if he made any more stupid offers:emotions34::Bye:
WTH is it with these kids
He drove away flipping me off and yelling some really nice 4 letter words
Bet his Momma is proud of him:ROFLJest:

^ Shifting cradle not good. As long as nothing leaking / bent or busted, that's what counts.
I would probably want to have the alignment checked/ done now.
Yea, I bought my rig for $500 from my sister after my TJ was totaled, she hit a ditch with the front passenger tire but had minimal damage besides the steering. I'm not 100% sure it was square with the frame to begin with. After 2 decent hits, I can see it loosening itself. No damage besides a shifted cradle, but being 1/4" off changes things at the wheel drastically. We ended up parking it in the dirt and loosening all the cradle bolts slightly, and hooking my buddy's winch to it and convincing it to get back where it's supposed to be. Took a few tugs from different directions but we got it square to the "frame". We just got everything back to normal and looking over everything else. Noticed my steering rack bushings are toast again, but luckily I had an extra pair. In fact I have extra cv's and steering parts that we used to compare to see if anything else was bent. I was more worried about my freshly built front axle being damaged, it wasn't cheap with the arb, new gears, new intermediate shift, Napa cv's and full bearing set. What pissed me off is I wasn't even stuck, just tweaked my rig. If it ends up being a problem later I'm just going to SAS the thing

Yeah, typical par for the course everybody thinks they can pay what they want to pay for a product. Takes me back to selling my truck and the replies of Shame I posted on my Facebook. Got the point I sent back the same sentimentality of response I got for a reply to my ad. Best yet, a broken 30 year old lawn tractor as a trade. Of course it goes to the ''success stories'' of people getting a house starting with a paperclip on craigslist. So people think they can trade nothing, for something.

Drove my newly-repaired windshield in daylight for the first time today. Instead of a bullet-hole-shaped crater I now have a bullet-hole-shaped crater with resin in it. You can still see the whole works.

Do. Not. Like. :favorites68:

PROF, where's it at? If directly in line of sight, no a repair isn't a lot of help, other than to keep spider line cracks from developing. If it bugs you too badly the only choice is replacement,, ,,,,, cause you'll end up hating it for a lllooooooonnnnggggg time.

Getting rro super sliders, and expecting bilstein 5100s for 4" lift tomorrow from jba. I've had stock length bilsteins with ome 948 springs.

I should've ordered rock rails from jba as well, but i like rro's can be used as a step. I wish i had better option.

Why are they so expensive and hard to get for you? Out of curiosity I checked the online lookup for a local part store as I have access to their catalog and they list the upper continental hose (66038) at $30.97 and lower continental hose (66039) at $47.97. And parts are much more expensive up here!

That's about what they cost me, $31 & $44 with free shipping. Most of the local parts stores, (AutoZone, Advance, NAPA, Orielly's) didn't even have a listing, or had to order it. If I gotta wait, I'll order it online, shipped to my house, and probably cheaper!
The 4cyl is only in 6% of Jeeps, so apparently, not enough for them to profit.
Now that I sold the "big" Dodge, I have a little money to play with, and am thinking about turboing it, I just can't leave them alone!

Just don't use them to go over rocks, several pretzeled ones
AllJs ( boulderbars) have really good ones as well, better built than RROs

Believe that! I have one dead center eye level on the drivers side!
This one is directly under the rear view mirror about halfway between the bottom of the mirror and the bottom of the glass. I'm going to give it a day or two to try and see how much it irritates me. The question then will be whether my insurance company pays for it or if it's on me.

If you happen to be following behind a gravel truck, be careful as they can drop and throw a rock that will definitely make windshield replacement necessary. Just sayin! ;)

Maybe I'll find a guy with a load of cinder blocks and play follow the leader. If it comes in the passenger side I get a new windshield. Drivers side and I'd quit worrying about it. :mexsmoke:

With your luck, it'll take out the hood instead. Don't you live in area where there are "careless kids" around who throw baseballs, rocks, bottles, bullets, cats, etc.....late at night.....when nobody can see or catch therm?

Got a few things done on the front end that I've been wanted to get to. New extended breather hoses. Changed the fluid in both axles, decided to check the rear pattern again while I was at it. Put new front driveshaft heads on, new rear u joints, and changed the tcase fluid. I was got it aligned after having the engine cradle shift, and the tech compared the specs with some of my previous alignments and said it looks like the it had been slightly off the whole time. Drives better than it ever has so I'm happy. Also threw some red lock tight on the cradle bolts before we torqued them
