So far those who have used this paint, haven't had issues so fingers crossed I get the same. I'm hoping weather holds in the morning when I have day light to pop them in. LED's have finally gotten on my nerves, fine at night but day time they're just ''too clear'' and I hate that. I need to have fogs that can work in daytime bad weather.

Installed flat-4 trailer wiring.

Parts:
-Generic 48" 5-wire to flat-4 converter, compatible with LEDs.
-(4) quick splice 18ga side spade connector taps.
-(4) spade connectors 18ga
-5' 1/4" nylon wire loom (looks like a real long continuous Chinese finger trap)

Tools:
-12v test light/probe
-wire strippers
-crimping pliers

Methodology:
-Pulled rear lower hatch sill and right rear pillar faring.
-Probed wiring harness while initiating each signal to identify needed 4 wires to install taps on.
-Secured ground wire to rear window defog module post.
-Installed taps and spade connectors. Cut, installed 1/4" wire loom (for aesthetics to hide four colored wire) and resecured.
-Allowed for slack to ground -2" and tucked/secured harness and farings.
-Secured to trailer and tested all functions.
-Cleaned and stowed tools, stored supplies, and collected/disposed of scraps and trash.

Toted 8'x20' utility trailer to house I'm prepping for sale, loaded the trailer down and tracked miles to the local dump.

All good! [emoji6]

This is what we used to do this back in the day to customize our interior lighting. See this was back before LED's were everywhere...

Hi Birdman330

Seeing you are using tamiya color paint.
What kind airbrush are you using to paint the bulb?

Cheers!

I dipped them, since the container is big enough to allow it.

Now for the update, it would have worked if I had the right bulbs to begin with. H11's fit in the units very nicely, but they won't hook up to the harness because it calls for an H10/9145 bulb. Oops major oops, so I quickly ordered the proper bulbs should have them monday or tuesday latest.

People are starting to sing Jingle Bells when i drive by.

$1.32cdn to $1.00us does not help.

Harmonic balancer is OFF!

Wasn't really that tight; Just trying to be kinder and gentler than my regular brutish cussed self. Brutish is more fun.

Finished up the tc end of the front shaft. My snap ring pliers decided to retire yesterday and the snap ring shot out into the yard. Got a new snap ring from my uncle and exchanged my snap ring pliers for a new pair (craftsman warranty).

The axle end was seized to the splines, and the joint was separated from the splines inner race. The whole thing fell apart when I was trying to get the snap ting off. Guess that explains why my rig was doing the Bump-n-Grind.
