Why not just use a slip knot on a d-ring?

Yes you could do that as well , but with the beavertail, don't have to tie a knot, strap can be hooked to the other vehicle already just feed the end through and slip it over
With that said, have had one over 4 years and used it 3 times. 2 times " she " was really cute or would of never taken the time :ROFLJest:

Easiest , fastest thing I have found to use in over 40 years, ( except for a hook) works great and tow strap won't slip off.
Also sticks back just far enough to be back the same amount as the spare tire, giving it more protection

Yes prices have come up on them over the years. IF you were closer I'd make you a heck of a deal , too heavy for me to ship it

used the jeep to pull the car trailer out of the spot it's been sitting in.
bled the brake line to the brake controller sensor, and recalibrated said sensor.
going to take the trailer for a drive and make sure everything works like it should.

Parts are starting to arrive. Got the MOPAR rad yesterday, Felpro thermostat gasket today. The rest (thermostat, hoses and HOAT fluid) should be here early next week. I will only schedule the repair when everything is in.

Well I was GONNA change the washer fluid today with some de-icer stuff. Did a Mazda, then Acura. But when I got to my girlfriends Kia, that damned thing has the biggest tank I've ever seen! Sucking out the old with a 60cc syringe took 20 minutes and used up the last of it! Had to double check to make sure I wasn't in the radiator. Wrong hole! Wrong hole!
