TPS going bad on the 03, stole the one off the 04 , works good now
Since plans have changed "dramatically" for my dear old gal, may as well use what I can.
Its a shame no one needs a rust free body to swap all of their goodies over to.

I just got the bumper a few weeks ago. Noise was present before that.

One person stopped by my place a few years back with a lift they installed them selves. Had a annoying squeak every now and again. Hunted for an hour or so, driving, hanging out of various doors, with rear tailgate open, could hear it just not where from.
I then pulled it inside, loosened and retightened everything they had installed. No more noise,:emotions34: never could figure what it was but it never came back .
Always told him he had caught a mouse by the tail, when we loosened everything it ran like H***!:happy175::Bye:

Sorry no pics, I've got her covered with full size cow hides, hiding her even from my eyes.
Can't stand to look at the old girl suffering the way she is.
Body though is intact and surprising not hurt at all.

If there was some way to take out the rusty area of my roof on the passenger side of the third brake light and transplant your rust-free panel...

Sorry Kili is in hospice :favorites68:

Tom, every time I think of this it makes me sick all over again. :favorites68:

As for me and my Jeep today, I messed around trying to drain the battery for no apparent reason. TC will know the details.

My UCAs and Y-Link Extension arrived today. I tossed them inside the Jeep and then ignored my KJ the rest of the day. My rebuilt Segway batteries also arrived today. I have spent the last few days freshening my Segway up - touch-up paint, clean & polish, etc. Couldn't sleep last night, so tried (and failed) to get some good sunrise photos. When the batteries finally got here, I mounted them, then went on a short glide. I'd forgotten how fast my Seg goes on good batteries - my 21" diameter scooter tires (instead of the stock 19"ers) help. My neighbor is a CHP and he radared me one day at 18mph. Segways are only s'posed to go 12.5mph.

Sorry I ignored my KJ today. I'll do better tomorrow... after I finish gliding around on my Segway. ;)

Tried to do the starter on my 02 key word tried. I got everything off and loose then i couldnt get the old starter out. I gave up left the front drive shaft off it started up and i drove it around the block. I got some bad vibes when turning left even when stopped. I probably f'd something up good now. When i shifted the t case through part time full and 2wd i got no lights on the dash. No 4wd indacator no new starter no front drive shaft now and a weird vibe from the front drivers side talk about fail.

I'll be modifying this over the next little while to haul my big Jackson kayak, fishing gear and cooler for those days I just want to go fish for awhile and don't want to drag the tent trailer around.

Did you shift the tcase without the front drive shaft in? When did you feel the vibrations?
